@Thib25 a tiling window manager that can be entirely used with the keyboard and is extremely customizable
-
A lot of people don't understand that an OS should not dictate how you use your computer, it should be the opposite. If they want to have a simple experience where they can do everything with their mouse, that's fine, but don't judge people because they want a more personalized experience.
For example, I have a pretty bad eyesight and I'm an albino (which means I get easily blinded just by looking at bright UIs), which means most of the time on Windows, unless I have a gigantic cursor, I easily lose it, that means I use my keyboard most of the time, but on windows, I cannot completely control my environment using only my keyboard, which I can easily do on Linux and also make my system 100% dark themed -
It allows the app to have better looking UI (because JS/CSS) but makes simple apps like disoxrd or vscode using at least a GB of RAM each compare to a terminal based alternative that takes almost nothing.
-
Wow that's edgy
-
Both for me
-
Hi mess, I'm Albi
-
Because it's electron, so when you zoom in, it acts just like a normal browser would
-
I use a Thinkpad x201. It's cheap (200$ on eBay), lightweight (for it's price), runs Linux perfectly
-
Personally it's either Signal or Riot.im for me

Never used Go, but I've heard good things about it. I'll say Node, just because it's my daily driver nowadays
-
First, I'm albino, secondly, there is a big car seller in Quebec called Albi the Giant, so yeah about 90% of my close friends call me like that.
