@BambuSource those are extremes but they convey so much meaning by themselves. Germanis nice ;)
-

						17. No experience with life, but got some other things ;)
-

@liammartens had to create a custom CMS (a really small one - basically just new pages addition + some google analytics) and a new style for my client. Turns out that I have spent too much time on front-end and now I have no idea how to generate the said menu by myself, so I thought that perhaps wordpress would be a good solution. Turns out it's not ;) Most likely I will dump the idea of using wordpress now :/
-

@AlexDeLarge Well, the problem is that I don't really know how to retrieve them from wordpress as the idea is to have submenus to some kind of labels.
Reading a ton of tutorials at the moment :/
-

@dsteiner that's what I asked the first time. Thanks for explaining! :)
-

@dsteiner but aren't there two ways to install it? You can use composer or you can use installer? I might be missing something tho
-

I like how many devs here hadn't been bitten by floats yet :)
-

@Papi you can use installer? Or does it also require composer under the hood?
-

						LEARN! :)
-

Throw some crap together and don't sweat over it ;)
-

Well, CSS layout isn't as complicated as people make of it, so I have never understood, why use Bootstrap :/
I use it only in the cases when the time is running short. And even then it's a shame to have tons of wrappers around everything :/
-

How can bubble sort vary per compiler? What evil are you doing with it? :O
And actually it's essential to learn how to visualize code from just reading it.
-

I died on the first one :/
-

@Codex404 soon. You will be on the honoured list :)
I find it a lot more fun to write backend with php+laravel than nodejs+express crap. Code looks so much nicer, authentication is just a few lines of code and everything works instantly. Wooh!
 Thanks a ton :)
-

@Codex404 interestingly enough 4.2 docs have 2 download links - one for 5.4 and one for 4.2 Laravel setup. They don't say anythinga about it tho...
-

						.
-

Well, in my local area 99% of the web dev jobs are with php. I don't know anything about how unpopular it is :P

 (And Laravel is great!)
-

@Codex404 that is gold! Thank you very much!
-

@Froot well, that is how I fucked up. I made a rough sketch-visualization and got so carried away that 80% of work has been done. I have never really touched php, so I am a little bit anxious now :/
-

@Froot client hosts their website on a platform that supports only php. :)
-

						@xsacha people use 8 spaces?!
-

						3? That's nothing!
-

Calc must have some weird settings.
For quite some time people interpret division as fractions.
You construct fractions like this: (a*b)/(c*d) in the place of * can be any operator. Also, you can omit any of the letters.
Many mathematical proofs are standing on top of this.
-

@jeanlucami dang! That would clean my downloads folder. Never thought about writing a script... Thanks for an idea!
-

						@Froot or maybe that!
-

@runfrodorun it is (hopefully still) the newest JS version.
-

						@Xeanort mean stack.
-

@Linux When talking about that tunneling project where Musk wants to dig up a few layers of tunnels for traffic, he said that in the future it would be possible to use hyperloop underground.
-

But your penis doesn't add up to the surface of the Earth. So wouldn't it be more right to take in, say the volume of biosphere? :P
-

Should do that to shorten debugging sessions :o
 Thanks for the idea!
