@iceb that seems bad most of the time.
I'd rather use an option type or something... -
@iceb what's the null object pattern?
-
@Parzi you're doing something wrong, you need to stop and figure out what. It should not be that hard to get a job.
-
@Parzi you've sent 15k applications out?
-
Is that real?
-
@Sid2006 stack overflow is too hard for you?
-
@IntrusionCM seems like it DOES work with incompetence
-
@Lensflare you still use Java?
-
@sugarcube I will never work again for a non tech person if I can help it

@magicMirror
Printf debugging is extremely effective, I don't care what they tell you -
Tests are to stop people from breaking the code by mistake later on, not to see if the code works right now...
-
@Sid2006 you end up with the articles like "I sped up my js framework by 1000x" and you read it and they just atopped being retarded and making 50k copies of everything in a loop....
It always amazes me how little front-end devs even think about the performance of what they do -
Maybe don't use garbage languages like Python
-
Run it through a debugger?

Yup my current job, really don't enjoy it anymore but can't really quit

@ostream
> comments are for noobz
At my job, my boss was dealing with a bug in another API (which we had no control over). He left comments explaining this bug, as well as his workaround.
There's not really a way to avoid this, and the code would be worse without comments -
Say something like, "I'm interested in working for your company, but I have another offer for a higher salary at another company, would you be willing to increase the offer?"
