I tried Crouton on arm. Very few packages were compatible so I couldn't really use it for what I needed 😕

@JoshBent Well I don't know x) I used https://instances.social/ to choose an instance (I got mstdn.io) and then I lurk the threads (the one with people you follow, the one for the current instance and the global with posts from all instances) and grab interesting posts, follow interesting people etc. Now I participate in some posts, answer people who need help, meet people and get news about stuff that interests me :)

But I guess it's personal, and I understand the appeal of it as much as I don't understand Instagram at all.

Well, I like it. And I don't see the point of comparing it with devrant that's not what I'm saying, it's not better or anything, it's just that I enjoy people there and I started to make contacts and I got a better social interaction than on devrant. I'm not saying people should come too, I just wanted to share my thought 🙂

Yes you are right about everything, including closed source. Whatsapp also stores all the people you talk too, and your phone number of course 🙂

I have the 3T and easily go to almost 2 days, so I guess the 5T might have a good battery life too 😊
