I've just recently hopped on the bandwagon. I learned Angular 1 and 2, then just started with Vue. You can do so much with so little code.

Trust me, you'll never want to go back. You can even use jQuery with Vue if you *really* want.

I have admin rights on my computer at work.

I use nano for quick config edits on a server.

The center align and no spacing irritates me.

I've developed on both AMD and Intel processors. Granted AMD chips are cheap and perform well for every day tasks and gaming, they aren't very good for development (compiling in VS included). They're fairly unstable in terms of compile times and occasionally just freeze. Spend a little money and get at least an i5.

@ardinent Once I started coding on a mechanical keyboard, nothing feels even remotely the same. I went to a MacBook Pro for a bit but just craved my quality keyboard. Everything else feels cheap.

You could get into Xamarin if you want to explore app development in general, rather than just Android.

I prefer it over Windows because it has bash built right in. I prefer it over Linux because it actually has programs I use, such as Photoshop.

I don't see how some developers code with a light background. That hurts my eyes after 5 minutes.

I like having Netflix in the background. Just enough sound to keep me from going insane but it doesn't require my attention.

I love my 6S Plus. Its screen is actually large enough to show more than 3 letters, unlike the SE.
