At my place its totally normal to talk about our weekends and private life. However, I have a very friendly relationship to all of my colleagues.

I have a MBP too an I use a 21:9 29in with 2560x1080 and I recommend to choose a higher resolution. On 24in (or 25) I would go for 1440p.

Yes it is too much. But you can change the res in the settings of Samsung smartphones. The only thing they did right while customizing android...

thats why I'm using Telegram. Awesome apps for Web, Win and Mac, without any connection to your smartphone.

I use dark themes because it's more pleasent and more comfortable to my eyes. Just my humble opinion...

Jetbrains developed 'IntelliJ IDEA', an IDE for Java and some other languages. Android Studio is a special version for Android Development on top of IntelliJ IDEA. I never heard from a company called IntelliJ...

@green To answer the question: if you want to develop android apps I'd suggest AS, othereise I'd choose IntelliJ.

Yeah, last month I got a new notebook and started with the exact same thing: Install all my dev tools. But I wasn't an admin so I called the IT. They ask me for what I need admin rights blabla and nobody get admin rights yet because blabla... Outcome: I'm now an admin because I cannot work without it. Next day I called for the bios password to enable virtualization for vm and Android emulation xD
