I played around with google assistant for a while, but then got bored and deleted it from my phone.
You should delete it too. :P
I only played with it for a day, since I don't trust Google haha. -

I deleted google assistant by deleting the google app. -
@Michelle you are right, it's baked into vanilla Android and can only be removed by rooting said device... Also why don't you trust Google?

I don't trust google, because of the lack of privacy. I hated it after it locked me out of my manuscript on google docs for "violating" their TOS. First of all, I thought they don't look through the documents of their users. That's a big privacy issue. Second of all, my manuscript did not violate their TOS at all. -
@Michelle they likely didn't read it, probably had bots looking for key words / sentences but I get it
