@sylar182 damn it that's genius!
But you'd need to make each one exclusive to that website or you may end up breaking websites.
Also there needs to be a system for an end user to enter the relevant details without needing HTML experience -
you deserve stickers for that
-
I've been tempted to make a chrome extension that automatically deletes light boxes, any thoughts? (Except about technical difficulty)
-
well tbh a "small" game (aka something that's passable) is probably going to take ~100 hours to get to completion
-
on Wikipedia they have a minor tag that gets used when it's minor stuff. then on your watchlist and page history you can it out. don't get why github hasn't implemented this
-
one of us! one of us!

*agrees*
*looks at own code, with variables like: SomeVar, RandoVar, NeuArray, SomeArray*
"Bloody Idiot" -
@localdam like I said can't remember the exact number, I've heard some people say 45.
But to be honest, in my case I tend to pen and paper most thoughts, programming and not programming. So if I've gotten off track or distracted I don't have to try and recall it all -
the current thing that's going around is that every interruption costs 15* minutes of time to get back into the track of what you're doing.
(*can't remember the exact number) -
@dev0urer erm, no! you can get away with not using them most of the time, but there are times they are most definitely needed!

Could the energy transfer actually heat up the phone quicker than the fan causes dissipation of heat.
-
ironic plot twist: they're using running thin side client? 😂
-
we ended up having all of disc drives disabled, because little pricks would remove the rubber band that connected the motor to the gear
-
The worst thing is when you feature request for it to be an option, and they reply with "we don't support that feature"
goddamn it that's why i contacted you -
just to be devil's advocate: maybe your boss isn't able to give you a raise
-
@nblackburn I'm starting to really dislike patents and software, and how it monopolises the industry
-
@sheeponmeth I don't think Microsoft can change an open source licence after someone starts using it.
If a person is given an open licence to use something, they are usually grandfathered into keeping that licence. Unless there's a timed term, which i think would void most people's definition of OS. Plus there is even public records of the open licence.
I'm happy to learn if I'm wrong. But I'm just speculation until it hits case law. -
@nblackburn could you expand on the Facebook licence issue?
-
ouch
-
... and how much time did you gain from that exercise ? ... 😂😂😂
-
why? just why?
-
isn't that everyone? 😜
-
@kwilliams oh? should i Google?
-
@kwilliams holy crap you're right!
I'm just wondering when someone will actually try to use a battery as a bomb -
oh you people in a 9-5 employment
actually you're rather lucky -
And here my only gripes were that now the extensions seem to take up far more space on the screen than they used to, and a few other design points
-
never heard of it 🙈
-
Though, dragging and dropping the link is quite useful. Especially when you have multiple browser environments
-
@rookiemaverick sort of agreed. I measure security in time and ease of exploration.
but, most people do need to have an enlightenment to how insecure the world actually is -
I'm probably naive, but why would anyone have their documentation in one single place where there's multiple factors of failure?
