@Haxk20 I am, i wouldnt wait for the next lesson just to learn stuff im really interested in :P
-
@Haxk20 I think he is very capable and a really good teacher, the introductory material is just a bit lacking. Id like to know what the initialization parameters are/do, not just set them null without question
-
@MoboTheHobo windows until 4 hours ago, nvme since then
-
Mine works fine with 1709, sorry to hear yours doesnt :/
-
@tracktraps to be honest i would be lost if it wasn't for all the guides online, i was just lucky to combine multiple guides just the right way :P
-
@tracktraps Arch
-
@karwler sorry for not posting this earlier :P
-
My concern would be if the company will still be around in 100 years...
-
Could be because im a programmer, could be because im unemployed...
-
Last time i saw one of these they called it "nero burning rom", which was quite clever on their part...
-
@elonmusk Or @sam9669 is just quite cleverly attempting to hide the beans...
-
@elonmusk The rest of the Community will stay oblivious, for better or worse ;D
-
@elonmusk Oh! And i thought i was missing an obvious pun there. Damn, thats what i get for staying awake too long :P
-
@elonmusk I hate to be that guy, but i don't get it. Would you care to share? :)

Just to make your wallet cry a little more:

@mikessoldier He is using the octal system (base 8) by adding a 0 to the front. Octal only accepts numbers 0 to 7(afaik), so 777 is correctly put out as 511, but 888 is not an actual octal number, so javascript does its thing and seems to read it as decimal (base 10).
@firusvg damn, i was too slow :P -
@DirtyBit I should have seen that coming, but it never crossed my mind in the 4 years that i use that handle on various platforms. Thank you for that :)
-
@filthyranter Dammit, suspected as much.
-
Either I am doing it wrong or i am just really lucky. Had a problem with nvidia drivers once, rolled them back to 340 iirc and they worked without a problem ever since...
-
Hey thanks, looks like I've won an iPad and got 3 dates tomorrow!
-
@Mayhem93 It sure does look beautiful
-
I am still waiting for the UX550 because of that quadcore and dedicated graphics card :/
-
I personally never had a problem installing archlinux, but the bootloader was where my problems began due to rather... "Unique" behavioural patterns of my motherboard(mainly screwing everything up on the efi partition on reboot(except, of course, windows) leaving me with no other options but to use windows or reinstall grub or whatnot i gave a try back then ).
My current workaround is installing ubuntu on a third drive and then wiping it because it recognizes arch and windows and somehow gets past my fucked up motherboard without screwing up the efi partition. I spent days until i tried that... -
You forgot the part where the screen tints red and blood is running down from the frame
-
@pajaja Its a B.87 EX X2 from Winkeyless with the acrylic case in black/frost/frost/black configuration, green Gateron switches and the DSA Royal Navy keycaps. Saved some money by soldering it myself, but they can solder it for you if you are uncomfortable doing it yourself.
-
Kinda both? Ripples outward in red from the key I press, im just not fast enough to take a picture of it :P
-
I had a 121 petabyte flash drive once, at least until i reconnected it :/
