It's false, a isn't equal to b. B is at least 5 higher.
-
Maybe they thought you would also like to be involved in the BE part.
Or they just feared they would have to pay you more. -
Anybody else starting singing the text in Dave Grohl's voice?
-
I would split what I have to do in very small tasks, you’ll feel great checking off your list and really feel like you’re making progress
-
@craig939393 Not necessarily, but depending on the logic of the function in the other subclasses, the open-closed principle could be breached.
-
Correct me if I'm wrong, but this could be valid right?
Because the function is an override method, the parent class could delete a group, which is overridden in this subclass because it is now allowed for this type. Not best practice, but could work right? -
I really think the entry-level of most languages is fine. But once you know how to write in that language/framework and you want to get better at it, it feels like you already need to know what to search for to go deeper into something.
I can't really find good guides that say: ok after learner the basics of X, look at these design patterns, architecture concepts... to write better code than the basic guides. -
Just out of curiosity, did you mind doing the backend stuff? If you don't like it and they push it on you, that's already a big sign.
-
Nope, but there are a few geeks 😁

Just realized "my employee" "I'm not paying him...". You probably are the manager, so the above's comment should work just fine as well.
-
Just tell him straight out.
If it's his first job he might just be used to being on his phone all day at school. You (or someone) need to make clear to him that that's not how real jobs work.
If you don't like confrontation, just speak to your manager or HR. -
You can create an amazon clone, where you can order specific items and add them to a cart, which you can checkout.
Easily expandable if you would get more help from your colleagues than expected. -
@Root I hope you're not planning on staying there much longer.
-
That's the next guy's problem.
Here's to hoping that's not me -
@tecHindustan I'm 23, My mom still cooks for us
-
Take all the time for the cooking and cleaning and add it to the Netflix & chill. Honestly never better :)
-
@olback, no that would be too easy.
It a very long list in no particular order -
Is the intent of this comment as sarcastic as it sounds?
-
Devide it up into small tasks, checking off multiple tasks in a short time feels like progress and keeps me motivated to work on bigger projects.
-
I don't know if you have updated the app in the meantime. But I sometimes delete apps I totally forgot about / don't use anymore after I see an update for them.
-
@CyberXander Of course this was tested in our test and beta server first, but the logs were correct there.
-
@C0D4 @Nachfolger This was actually not an option for this particular use case. We created a close-out plan to remove data we didn't need anymore for GDPR reasons.
-
@C0D4 What do you mean with "enabled" flags?
-
@Coffe2Code Believe it or not, even php allows you to write good code.
for example: use '==' or '===' instead of in_array for 1 element or not use a switch case where the only case not mentioned is the only value it could possibly be. -
They made it so you can no longer transfer pokémon to this game that are not found in this region. So, there is no national dex and you can never catch'em all. Everyone has a favorite pokémon and only a few hundred get to see theirs in these games.
