If you want to do really native development you should stick to a JVM language. I would recommend taking a look at Kotlin (by JetBrains) if you dint want to use Java.

Just install Android Studio and start with a simple template (Kotlin is officially supported) and build ontop of that.

Because it has an integrated debugger, provides INTELLIGENT completion, based on (in the case of c#) roslyn. It features an integrateg output window, if you run stuff the output gets there. You can create, debug, deploy (c# dot net core) projects without switching to another windows.

And, with its great set of extension it makes an awesome python editor+debugger and stuff

I have to write the client in c# abd when you Have to deserialize 2 different models dependend on the status code it gets a mess (at least when you try to capsule this stuff an an api project(
