@NaughtyProwler introverted social butterfly here. Introverted but I have great people skills for whatever ungodly reason.
Anyway, the hardest part of my interviews, jobs, etc is interacting with other introverts.
That's when I started my rule of always greeting people and asking about their day. Acknowledge that they're a person before all else. Eventually it'll get to that point where you won't be able to shut them up and you'll regret it, but not in a bad way.
At the end of the day, most loners and introverts just need a friend. Not one that imposes themselves on the friendship. But one that is there when they need someone. -
A lot of devs grow up as nerdy kids and are subjected to being bullied in school. They eventually band together with the other weird kids and create their own echo chamber and that's where they become comfortable.
So when they then have to go outside that comfort zone their defense mechanisms kick in and they turn into giant twatwaffles -
So, if you're hiring...

Did @aQuigs just assume my theme?!

Subscribing in hopes @adnanh updates us on how it all plays out
-
@TechnoTrumpet yeah, I think I can remember the ones I showed her

Roses are red,
reminders are great,
since I stalk you and know you're single, here's some porn to masturbate -
Subberino. Bot me baby

If you ever incorrectly calculate a boolean value you're only off by a bit.
-
@antoni4040 oh yeah, they're certifiable. I'm still not emotionally over the model/stripper that cut the bristles off my toothbrush.
-
@NathanDoesDev just make one of her electronics go squirrelly on command so she has to come and talk to you.
Or tighten all the jars in the house so she'll need your help opening them.
Cmon man, gotta be creative -
If there's any piece of advice I can give the world it's: Always hit on the hottest girl at the party because, you just never know.
Seriously. Accuracy by volume. Get a tinder, POF, Bumble, etc then just drag a huge net across the single dating pool. I promise you that you'll find someone. I date girls with severe daddy issues because they're crazy and so I have fantastic stories to tell my friends. -

Have you tried crtl + Z to see if it fixes your issue?
-
@loumorgsy smaller is always better, unless we're talking about monitor size, bank accounts, storage space or that other thing we shamelessly can't keep our hands off of
-
@VenomCLC good thing we're not asking you to define any terms for us then, eh?
-
@PRein they're a combination of objects and subroutines that are for the big program that runs in the outernet.
-
One he'll of a fallout, eh?
-
@Charmgoggles "if you put loads of work into something that no one wants"
That's essentially why I stopped working out ages ago man -
Impress them enough and they'll go out with you and make your life miserable.
I went out with a model that cut the bristles off my toothbrush. True story.
But the fucked up part is that there aren't even any scissors in my bathroom which means she dug through drawers in the kitchen till she found some then walked back to the bathroom still thinking about what she was going to do.
She could have stabbed me or something but nooo. She had to send the "I don't care care about your long term health" message by cutting(AND STEALING) my bristles. -
I doubt the cruise control is what killed him. It was probably coming to a very rapid stop that did most of the killing.
He also probably could've brexited the vehicle before it reached that speed. -
Being a great manager is an art form and it doesn't matter what the team is whether it's dev team, sports team, sales team etc.
The ones that do it best usually go unnoticed and the ones that do it terribly get all the attention -
@simonebogni It just doesn't call the OnSuccess function. The controller fires like it's supposed to. However, much like the last few girlfriends I had, I've taken the liberty and pleasure of making it much more complicated than it ever needed to be.
It's a razor Ajax form that's inside of a partial view that I'm rendering alongside other partials on a view. -
I listen to myself swear, mostly.
-
@liammartens Yep. Tried that. I've just settled with the realization that I seem to have fumble fucked myself into oblivion on this one.
