@Root, should I like progressively keep increasing? 2,3,5....? 😮 But, but, its still odd. ☹️

@Evanb I never knew about this product. I'll look into it. Thanks!
-
@theuser it's pretty good. I've been using chrome extension and android app. I'm not missing any features that Lastpass has and BitWarden doesn't.
I wasn't able to get Lastpass autofill working in my android browser without turning on Legacy Mode. It works fine with BitWarden without turning on Legacy Mode -
@Agred Felt like I wanted to have control over my data 😊

After missing couple of alarms after weekends, I wrote a tasker script to check if alarm is set for the next day before I sleep. Saved me a couple of times now :D
-
@ewpratten Oh! I didn't know there's an official api

Your rant screwed up my rss reader😆
-
@joas, ah! Nice catch. I'll fix it as soon I get off work. Thanks!
-
@joas, i think the header type is of rss. Couple of rss readers failed to recognize the rss if the header was xml

@Null-Device Darn. Didn't know that. Another valuable lesson learnt.

Oh about that. When I turned on the server the other day, I started to smell something burning. But I was too late. I heard a small pop sound. I think I fried my server. I'll open it up to see what went wrong.
Stay tuned. -

@SHA-16384 I installed Ubuntu server, but its not booting up. I have 2 masters and 2 slaves, they are kind of messing it up. It comes up fine with just 1 HDD. Maybe I'm missing the right configuration. I'll put up some pictures when I have it ready😊

I was tasked with upgrading gradle of our project. It was a pain but I could make it work. I've merged to master, let's see what happens😄

Apparently, I was assigning Removable Device as a high priority in boot menu, but the USB device was listed under HDD. Rookie mistake. I tried booting and I could see the Ubuntu logo coming up. Thanks for the help @sergiolarosa89 @Null-Device @metamourge

@enoon Somehow I missed your comment. Yes it's angular 1.6, which is very very old as of today. I believe angular 6.1 got released recently. I did have a little work experience in angular.
I just created a small app in vue.js yesterday. Their documentation is really good (is what I felt). Maybe you can start with that ? -
@JMoodyFWD Hello there neighbor!
-
@Sauruz No, I didn't do a Google search.

They did the same thing in our University. We then complained. A lot. They then upgraded all PCs with high speed SSDs. It takes seconds now.

Running PiVPN and Pihole in a single rpi0w. Not a single issue except slow internet speeds at my house😂
-
@gitpull oh. I don't know what ctf is. Sorry.
The hackathons that I'm talking about, runs for a weekend at different universities -
@gitpull Sorry for the long comment.
This is what happened to me. When I went to my first hackathon, I really didn't know what to do and I didn't have enough technical knowledge to work on a project. But when I watched students from various universities building stuff day and night without sleeping, it motivated me. I learned and built my first android app in my first hackathon. But during the time of the demo, I was depressed when I compared my app to all the other projects. It was nothing. The app was incomplete and filled with bugs. But, the amount of feedback and compliments that I received while I was showing my project made me feel proud and happy of my work. Most of my technical skills have been boosted because of hackathons.
My advice, if you get a chance, don't miss it. Don't be demotivated if you couldn't build something. There's always a next one :)
