I'm planning on buying AMD for my next workstation, even considering the mobile version for my next laptop.
-
I don't understand the hate for regex? It's great and powerful thing. Imagine validating form inputs without it.
-
Btw I use cabbage.
-
@RiderExMachina reread his comment once more. He's happy so few devs mentioned Macs.
-
@ramen when using ZZ you leave out the colon before it. It's faster since you leave out a key press and for me it feels more comfortable.
-
I was somehow expecting more Macbooks in the comments.
Anyway, I'm a ThinkPad guy so either X1 or t480 for me, thanks. -
@java9 One you go ZZ you never come back.
-
Flagships are supposed to be marginally larger that regular ships, aren't they?
-
Despite Lenovo's effort, the ThinkPads are still best businesses machines.
-
I like the confidence.
-
How about soldering your own mechanical keyboard?
-
A rant I can totally relate to. Have my ++, sir.

I guess they tried to hire me for cheap, now they won't hire me at all.

@D3add3d ke zpracování csv dat z programu co používáme k fakturaci.

Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge... basically anything but IE, where the text should get a fallback color.

I've experimented with that moving gradient quite a lot. It does look cool, especially when you combine it with a background clip property for text. (preview: http://invoicer.centario.cz/). But it's very cpu heavy even when used on small elements, so when possible it's better to make an inner div that's overflow is hidden, has like 200% width and height and use the transform translate3d so that it uses gpu with better fps.
-
It would be better to ZZ on it.
-
You look fscked, mate.
-
Goo to hear (read)!

May I suggest you the Anarchy Linux? Previously known as Arch Anywhere it's basically an Arch Linux installer with helper scripts to ease the installation process. Try installing it in a virtualbox and you'll end up with clean Arch Linux in just a few minutes.
-
Atom isn't bad at all, it just feels slower and more sluggish. They really need to improve that.
-
@sambhav2612 I've been there, too and I felt pretty dumb afterwards. Next level is your colleague editing the minified file and not telling you so that you overwrite his changes with automated minification.
-
@aritzh Sure, but the compression should still save the bandwidth?
-
Apple: Encryption is useless when you allow passwordless root login.
-
@diavel Are those in the standard yet?
-
There's no <fear></fear> in the first place.
-
That's a great idea, I'm gonna shamelessly do the same.
-
I treat BS3 and BS4 as two separate frameworks.
-
That's just a stereotype guys. Btw I use Arch.
