A small IT company with 2 other developers with a salary of 19.5k working on multiple projects and being instantly promoted to mid level developer, also a signing bonus after 3 months of a high end surface laptop.

So I had a job interview and got offered the job on the spot, then I went back to my manager at my current workplace to raise an issue about me being underpaid for this months wages and this is how the conversation went.

So i've not slept all night, come into work and my first mistake 1 hour in is migrating data from another project into a production database now i have redundant data and redundant tables, well done! fml

So i am stuck, i have assignments to complete, i know what i need to do, but every single time i sit down to write them up, my mind goes blank and i get extremely fustrated any advice? thanks.

Shits so frustrating at the moment, how do people cope with this all at once I’m juggling 3 projects at work, I’m still on an apprenticeship, I’m behind on my coursework which some of it is beyond me and I don’t know who to turn to for help, pls fml

So I had some time off at work for personal problems and my boss was getting a tad annoyed, I’ve come back in today and he’s sent an email to our it support team asking them to backup the projects I’m working on every day with some software, what’s your opinion on this? Should I start looking for a new job now or wait and see🙃

This is a question for any employers or whoever has an opinion, would you personally as a company hire somebody that was self taught, showed eagerness to learn, had little experience and no relevant qualifications.

Started an apprenticeship almost seven months ago now, don’t get me wrong I enjoy it a lot, but everything I already knew in regards to programming was self taught, so finding a normal paying job was proving to be difficult, I took this apprenticeship then boom, ever since I started, I’ve had recruiters and companies ringing me for jobs??? On the upside I get more qualifications to put on my CV when I complete the apprenticeship and my company is paying for me to do A-Level maths!
