This annoying fuck is the single most hated guy on youtube PERIOD.

Every time I try to watch a tutorial or some gameplay demo this fucking cunt comes up with his piece of shit game dev course.

    @Jilano I am using an ad blocker but still this comes up. Which ad blocker do you recommend?

    Adblock plus usually works. I hate that guy too btw 😂

    Speak of the devil... I got an ad with him after seeing this. The curse has spread.

    @c3ypt1c I am using Adblock plus on firefox. Don’t know why it doesn’t work.

    I have memorized the first 5 seconds of the ad though. It goes like: “Coding your own games is easier than you think. You know you should really take this online unity course. It is taught by a game developer and a software engineer....” (Skip ad button activates [CLICK SKIP AD] B E G O N E C U N T.

    @Michelle stay strong!

    @runfrodorun vid.me try to do that, personally I dont see it working overall though since hate it a lot or not advertising works to a degree for users that cant (or wont) give some money to content creators.

    Now Youtube is whole other topic and can say is unlike it the user is even making money now with the fully Orwellian terms they have imposed so I fully support people Ublock Youtube and give them the middle finder

    I use VLC to watch YouTube... Just the video... No bullshit script, no ad, just the video.

    @gary change the browser to Brave , it has the best AdBlocker installed

    I use "uBlock origin" by Raymond Hill (gorhill). It blocks all ads including video ads. I prefer it from other adblocker, because it just works and it has small memory footprint.

    Try it.

    I have never seen any of his ads, but then I also have YouTube Red so that could be the reason.

    Never saw him wtf.

    You stole my rant.
    You know, you should check out this Udemy course on not stealing rants.

    I'm pretty sure he's not a programmer, just look at the way he says "functions and variables" like it's some grand magic.

    Use uBlock Origin already!

    been there .... every time

    well i never ever understood what he said after "Python is ____"
    The next thing i could understand was "You can do anything with it. You know what..."

    I wonder if it costs them money when you click the ad. In which case I click on the ad, then wait for page load to complete, then close the page.

    If they waste my time, I might as well waste their money.

    I've had that one, the Python one and one with another guy telling me I can "learn Linux in just 5 days".
    So annoying.
  • 1
    @peonicles i do that too xD. Every time
  • 1
    @peonicles well dunno if their campain is a CPV or PPC kind, if the former just being displayed to you cost them, if the former which I highly doubt since that is mostly for banner style adversting, then what you said

    I have Adblock for Youtube specifically for Youtube, no ads, it's awesome :D

    @daintycode @DuckyMcDuckFace Lucky you.
    @speedForce I remember you did rant about this moron.
    @AnonymousDev @Cyanide Thanks I will check it out.
    @dextel2 There has to be a better solution.
    @Totchinuko You’re a legend!
    @runfrodorun It could work.
    @DefiniteGoose Most certainly. I think he is just an actor.
    @jalebiBhai They don’t stop and think about how they should sell something. They just want to shove it down our neck.
    @peonicles Thanks for this great idea and they should get charged when someone clicks on the ad.
    @theNox I will give it a try thanks.

    I replied a lot of people at once. Hope it’s okay.

    @gary I'm a legend 😎... Oh wait I don't want to be like that guy living in a deserted version of New York and get eaten by scary infected people D:

    Also I'm working on a small tool to store YouTube links, with a local subscribe system so you can use YouTube without account or browser, and video would automatically open in VLC. Should be simple enough to do.

    I fuckin hate this guy man. Afraid to search google for programming problems now. This cunt is hiding around every corner waiting to scrunch his face up and tell me... You know... you should sign up for GOOO DIEEEEEEEEE

    i joined DevRant today to whine about him too, the comments made me chuckle and I installed uBlock. I kind of miss him now.

    I was reluctant to add a blocker because I still support that youtube has great content creators and the platform helped me program along the way, but that guy was way too annoying.

    "Hating udemy's advertising is where it's at, you know, you should do the advertising course on udemy!"

    Seriously. I mean are they so oblivious that people hate them? or is the point to stir this controversy up? Or is perhaps these ads are attractive to their favorite kinds of customers?

    Whatever the case is, I just wish they would change to any other format. I would rather see an "as seen on tv" style with people trying to code until they learn about udemy and everything is better.

    I absolutely can't stand this mother fucker lol He looks like such a fake hipster and corporate tool - "I'm so excited for this new job opportunity! I ride my long board to work every morning with my air pods and get hard when someone mentions docker, node.js or python" Reminds me of this fucking tool from my CS program at university.
