@dontPanic that's what I always think, but it's so much faster to snap a picture right through the mobile app.
 -

Come on, the error is pretty obvious. You're giving it a String and all the compiler is expecting is a String. I don't know where the confusion comes from
 -

Maybe there's an error above that code and that's why you only took a pic of the bottom of your screen or something?
 -

stackiox5458y@AlgoRythm there is no error in the code, I just opened this project and after indexing this shows -

bioDan55358y@Hallelouia not really if you're using the desktop app or the web view and JING (or any other software if necessary) :) -

jaread2118y"@jaread boo hoo java is verbose and my ide surely doesnt autocomplete the code after 3 fucking keystrokes" -- @BindView, java nazi from another rant. -

@jaread idea's indexing error has nothing to do with verbosity, rebuild the project

gblues6108yThis means that Android Studio doesn't have a JDK assigned to your project. I see this all the time in IntelliJ when opening a project that uses a JDK I don't have installed.
Assuming JetBrains is consistent between IntelliJ and Android Studio, there should be a yellow bar at the top that will let you assign a JDK, and then the errors will go away. :p -

stackiox5458y@NoMad Hahaha 😂 😂
Thanks, I am pro 😜,
I know all these, it was just due to gradle build issue -

Had this happening to many many times. My solution is to grab a chicken, kill it and make a blood sigil on your laptop. It will fix it and prevent it from happening again.
Fking android studio -

px0622318yVisual studio does this shit and you have to close the file and open it again. So fucking annoying.
