Here in singapore, we developers are super under-appreciated, pm always get the credit. and our salary are never decent. is this a global thing or just us? please share

    not here in netherlands. at least not at my job. ;-) i'm lead dev php/magento, have a lot of contact with our clients, but my salary is the same or perhaps even a bit higher than that of pm. have to deal with a lot of sh** as well, but that comes with the job.
    in my defense: there's currently a big shortage for good developers in the Netherlands, so they treat us like kings :-)

    UK started sucking for the past few years from 45k-35k entry as php dev nowadays it dropped to around the minimum entry 25k-20k.. and everyone wants a WordPress developer or a PHP dev working on the front end (jquery, js, CSS, html, bootstrap)

    @dev-nope how do u survive with this salary in england? from what i heard from my friends. england is known to be expensive, especially housing/rental

    a good php developer can make between 45k and 55k (eur) a year in the Netherlands. but I've heard France pais even better. can anyone confirm?

    same here in the philippines. underappreciated and underpaid. barely 800 SGD for over 3 years of exp. need to get out of here. any good companies in SG you'd recommend?

    @fluffy43 there are a serious shortage of developers in Singapore. you can try sgjobstreet to find them. the biggest problem is on work permit. but you have good projects to show, it should be fine
