I think scroll lock is even more useless....it doesn't have a function at all...I use insert sometimes (to pasting into the git bash on windows for example )

What? Insert is very Important to me, to toggle tge cursor between "replace sign under cursor" and "insert before sign under cursor" Mode. How can u life without that?

there are programs for remapping keys for all platforms ,so replace those useless keys with something usefull

@Salmakis Most people just want to use one insert mode forever and only ever change it by accident.
Sort of like caps lock and num lock

@matsaki95 It probably increases the steam pressure in the boiler of a mainframe, so that the card puncher gets more power. Not sure though...

I use insert everyday. Then again I have it remapped to open up the terminal.

I've literally never had to use Scroll Lock. So I find it the perfect key to bind OBS to start/stop recording. Handily, the Scoll Lock light goes on to let me know that the recording's started.
