I'm curious:

How many of you that drive listen to the radio? How many stream their music (Spotify, Apple, etc)?

Always Spotify. Though sometimes I listen to radio in the car... You?

@ScriptCoded I use Spotify unless it's like driving to my PO box at the back end of my apartment complex because it takes longer to connect my phone and start the music than it does to actually get there lol

I listen to the radio mostly to listen the news. For music I stream with Deezer.

    FM radio all the time

Radio at shorter distances, Spofity at longer ones.

Definitely radio. I can listen to spoti-stuff at work all day. But whenever I'm in a car - it's radio time

I've got a Cassette Player in my car and whenever I feel like it, I record a new mixtape from one of my Spotify playlists 😁

@B00-H00 that gave my some nostalgia

Radio in the Morning to get updated if anything happens (or for how long brexit will be delayed this time) and Apple Music in the evening..

A combination of Spotify and stuff I've ripped with youtube-dl

Mostly Soundcloud, sometimes Deezer, never radio

Webstreams of local radiostations. Super while driving with the bike, news every half hour and ads are non tracking and only some are so bad that i need to change the stream(seitenbacher).

A USB stick of mp3 tracks. Never listen to the radio.

@B00-H00 my first car had a cassette player.

I bought a cassette to aux so I could listen to Spotify (well actually mp3 files still at time).

@-Minty- Ripping songs used to be what I did, but when I realized I could get Spotify premium for $5 a month + Hulu included, I went with that.

    Radio always 📻

If I'm driving alone and further than 2 minutes, Spotify. If it takes less than 2 minutes to drive I can't be bothered.

I normally stream my music. Every time i try to put on the radio its just garbage.

Mexican garbage to make it worse.

And in the event of me wanting to try what used to be my favorite country station.....all i get is pop garbage. So yup, streaming.

@AleCx04 Yea if you're not into pop country (Florida Georgia Line, Thomas Rhett, etc or the "up and coming" artists which are even worse) then radio country isn't for you.

I ended up making my country playlists based on my moods because the radio is always switching from upbeat to sad boy break up music. Pisses me off

Radio? Is that still a thing?

For me it's mix between boardgames and business related podcasts.

@heroesbane You'd be surprised how many people still listen to it.

@RantSomeWhere I know someone people that did that. I would have copied the flashdrive myself, but there were probably more songs I hated than liked.

@Lyniven me too. I listen to hours or Spotify these days.

Most of the time I drive without listening to music for no reason, but when I do it is mostly songs from my phone (no streaming) and if I feel like my songs are shit, I switch to radio.

I somehow ending up in the habit of listening to the radio in the morning and my flash drive in the evening

@Nanos or... Hear me out now... Or there are a few options between that.

Like idk... Not playing music at full blast but still listening to it?

Seems a bit wack to go straight to killing people and wrecks due to music while completely ignoring the fact that more people drive safely with music than there are wrecks caused by music.

    Just a thought though.

@Nanos Delayed reactions != killing people and/or causing wrecks.

Those are two completely different things.

But sure man. I'll go along with it because I honestly don't care enough to have a discussion. Just curious as to what people use.

Radio, don't have Stupify or any of those Harry Potter Spells.

@Nanos quoting a single research is not really conclusive enough. It may as well be an invalid research, blown up by media looking for your attention.

@M1sf3t nah I know a few others that still do.

I use it occasionally because Spotify's "radio" is dog shit.

Mostly CD's, sometimes radio -.. I feel old now. (Like most of my music, good ol' Korn, SOAD, Foo Fighters, Tomahawk,.. so my 5yr old gets some thorough musical education)
