Thanks @retoor for https://rantii.molodetz.nl !

I've been missing out, since I only ever accessed devrant on mobile.

Is it time we abandon ship and create a community devrant?

@wojtek322 it's https://my.devplace.net by @bkindxfish and rantii uses the real devrant as backend and is a pwa ibstallable trough settings for android :) Snek is a chat.

@lungdart you're welcome! 😁 Always happy to hear! :) Let me know if you find bugs or have recommendations. Do you know it has markdown and syntax high lighting?

hey so is there some megathread on what's going on? Just randomly one morning my iOS app stops working. And I search "is dev rant down", google gemini assures me dev rant is not down, however my iOS app is definitely not connecting to servers anymore. So I did a bit more digging and found it that desktop web app is working, and (cannot use webapp on mobile for some reason). Anyways here I am, and can anyone share with me WTF is going on with dev rant? I've invested my formative years ranting here and want to continue.

@peapowder original clients are not able to connect anymore because of the expired domain cert. It needs to be renewed. That's all. Dfox is informed.

@peapowder Mentions don't work either btw.

    For iOS there's @Lensflare's joyRant client - https://github.com/WilhelmOks/...

For Android I'm in the process of making an Android client. I am giving it a very small amount of time and attention(because I don't have much time) so it will take time to happen.

For browser there's @retoor 's https wrapper for the unworking devrant cert - https://dr.molodetz.nl , and her custom webclient (with PWA support!) - https://rantii.molodetz.nl

For desktop I made a notifications script that displays desktop notifications when you get mentioned - https://github.com/yuriKhordal/...

@Lensflare can make an onlyfans account and we can join for $0.69 per month. 100 people would be $69 per month for @Lensflare.

@YourMom I‘m already getting double of that from ostream alone.

@whimsical It's actually moved, https://devplace.net now works and it's probably better if we link to that one (although I've no idea whether pagerank is still worth anything)
