Hmm, I always kinda fascinated by a guy that was addicted to gambling always sat on the top of just chair watching others playing like if it could happen any moment. So unrational, he never won in exception of pennies to play again and by now he should win several times the jackpot to make a profit out of it. Even worse, he was almost the only player. He was literally playing for his own money. And that was so fascinating, all rationality out of the door regarding that. He wasn't even retarded or so, but his brain stops working the moment that he sees that machine. Also fascinating that one man can have like so much cash. I myself had a succeefull pokercarreer that ended with a few euro profit or so. The moment when I had a small profit again, I decided to immediately quit when I had a few euro more than with what I started career with. Don't wanted to be one almost people few plaid the long. Tried to become pro by simulating games and stuff. Later I did find out the secrets.

@tamagotchi and finally understand how the players of PokerStars were playing. Watch one of those videos, they're often quite fun but you won't believe what they fuck they're doing if you keep the rules of the game on mind.
But I decided it had too much luck factor required. The deal is, if you're good, and play much enough, like really much, you will balance out the luck. But you have to keep playing. Sick game. To get an constant percentage to check how often the combination of a card was, I had to run simulator 4000 times or so. So, I kinda knew there was around 7% change you start a game with a pair. But that 7% said absolutely nothing bevause that's the over thousands of games. I've built the simulator myself and one of the best poker players was also a software dev so I was like hmmm.. I know I've could have calculated things without simulating but simulating give me more insight / feeling. -
@tamagotchi have you considered arm wobbewy? It sounds like a fun way to make moneii

@tamagotchi It is just as important to know when to start as it is to know when to stop gambling, I guess.
I like to watch others playing poker. Daniel Nicaragua. I forgot his full name. I used to watch his plays, and it was interesting.
Hellmuth, Ivy, and that nonstop talking guy Tony G -
Quickly && uneventfully. The second part of that is enjoyable.
Like mentioned earlier - gambling.
Also, probably anything that has the potential of ruining you financially or your health when you just lose control. -
@sandeepbalan the things, nobody really knows how to stop. Ask people that went to casino multiple times, they never have won something. For example, my brother, a classic, went three times, amazing profit, it clicked a switch of success in his head, and the fourth time he lost everything including the profit. That's the game. Especially people having much luck at the moment, they'll go very far to get that again. My brother did not soejd saving or whatever btw, only money he could miss. But he quitted with negative, I witten with positive. I'm winner.

@tamagotchi
Most professional poker players are subsidized.
Otherwise it wouldn't be sustainable.
Sure, luck always plays a part, but a good poker player can make a steady profit (not retirement level, mind you), but a welcome addition, with minimal investment, because in the end, even with bad beats, knowledge and statistics win in the long term.
At least I know I do. Easy 200 € a month. -
anux7113dHave you taken over the weekly question? Back after a long time so I don't know what went on. Looks like the AI hotel street from Altered Carbon in here.
