Don't feel bad.
I didn't know about responsive design until last year. 😐😐😐
(I taught myself a good bit of HTML and CSS, but I never thought about mobile design until I took a class last year. I also stopped after a few months) -
And then there's people that think you need javascript for responsive design. My SO has to deal with such people at work. Using react only 'because Facebook uses it'.

@WhAtEvErYoUmEaN thats another type of responsiveness.
One is about scaling, resizing and reordering. The other is about something happening directly after a button press instead of requesting a new page that loads 90% of the page you are already on again. -
Yeah I got to know about them just like 5 months ago... I was like holy god, how did I not know this?
-
@Codex404 yeah i get that. But these people are all about design. I don't even think they know how Ajax calls work.

@jschmold Yea I have it down pretty decently.
In my front end class last year 1/3 or so of the semester was spent on responsive sites, since it is kinda a large aspect of modern internet browsing.
Idk why it never crossed my mind like 4 years ago when I was learning HTML and CSS. 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️ Either way, it's not that bad.
Just slap a bootstrap template in that bitch and boom. A whole ass responsive site.
^Sarcasm^ lol
