rust has taught me discipline

my life-long disposition to laziness is suddenly no more

I hate it, thanks

I've always viewed the unlazy and highly disciplined as a loser class. now what

Isn't rust written for people having bit the discipline for malloc and free? I think that patience is the main thing you learn with rust. It's a performance, sure, so is React actually. The effort that you did to master it gives a stockholm syndrome and actually, same a bit for C. But C is cool. We play with fire.

@retoor I do not know for I did not learn c

I think more strait jacket languages teach discipline though. in c you can do anything so it's not particularly painful

@retoor Last I checked, React has the worst in class performance ;P

@jestdotty Yeah, I do think stricter languages can be better for people to just understand systems better, partially because there are clearly defined rules and the whole restrictions breed creativity thing, "hey I want to do X why can't I"
