There is this recruiter who sent me two messages on exactly 2:35 pm on two separate days. And then today, asks for my phone number for brief talk and getting to know me.

Is this a bot, or a scammer or legit? The profile picture is a pretty girl also.

Might just block.

I get scam texts on Line, Telegram, Messages all day, but not on Linkedin so far. So this is new.

sounds legit. they're annoying and following a script

they're basically trained salespeople at a call center in terms of how they function at their job. I used to moonlight on a forum for recruiters cuz I rather stalk the perspective someone may have instead of talk to them (in the case of vapid interactions like that, where you can never get to know anything about their profession without them lying to manipulate you to their ends which is pretty lame)

Nothing happened, still I am little scared of pissing scammers/spammers off and they retaliate by hacking me or something. Never doing that again.

@sidthepajfuk someone contacted me with a job on stack overflow and I wrote that guy several critical paragraphs after casing their website...

they only had young people at the company and I extrapolated all kinds of abusive management tactics from their photos (there was probably a bunch of other weird things but this was some years ago)

they're just rumors so I don't even know if they do them

@jestdotty what's worse is some companies blacklisting people based on which company they worked prior, or companies sharing blacklist with each other, I guess it's not new,

I'm not sure one would want to work for one of those. they seem like miserable places to be at so it's kind of like welcome self-selection to me
