Me: "I should try to waste less money this month"
Also me: "I wonder what 1000 euro whiskey tastes like..."

(Please describe in comments, I don't actually have 1000 euros for whiskey.)

There is a damn good reason why a 1000 eur Whisky costs 1000 eur

@stop no...its more. I lived in Scottland for a while and got addicted to Whisky. There is a huge difference in the taste of whisky for each year it grows. Once I had "just" a 60 year old Whisky and....wooooohooooo there is nothing to mess with that. Making a Whisky aged artificially is not new but you do not have to be an expert to taste this shit.

There is an art to good whiskey, and there's an art to be able to enjoy it

Personally i dont like the jack daniels, etc run of "cheap" whiskey, jacks is good for mixing but that's it.

The best whiskey ive ever had was a single malt 101 year old japansese whiskey and on my god that was smooth

@StacksStacks Jack daniels is not a whisky its a bourbon. I know in america its called Whiskey but its so far from beeing a Whisky like Corona to a pilsner. A bourbon is primarily made out of cornπŸ™„πŸ˜–

@oxmox Yea im aware it's a bourbon but the common person just refers to it as whiskey still haha

    Too thick. Too rich.

    All guess. I can't even afford $10 😀

My guess would be very heavy in the smokey department because that evolves with age and older whiskeys are generally more expensive, but it's usually supply and demand. I bet there are better whiskeys for something like €150...
