When I started my current job, I loaded up vim and everybody looked at me like I was some wizard. Ten months in, and I'm now giving vim tips to everybody.

pretz5498y@ThomasRedstone Well, devrant is for the more geeky ones? Idk ppl use sublime n atom more nowadays
-
Redders9578y@pretz, yeah, but that's Mac guy and windows guy, windows guy is almost certainly a .net developer, Mac guy always came across as a designer or something, he probably actually uses coda :-P
-
yusijs12508y@hactually I use it for angular2 /typescript, javascript and general web dev. tots amazing.
-
hactually168y@yusijs and I'm saying that as a long time vim guy. vscode just helps me get shit done - the extensions are amazing.
-
yusijs12508y@hactually same - I use vim a lot as well, mostly for php dev etc. For anything else, vscode is love
-
SithLord8508y@ThomasRedstone ewww, Coda 😄 used it once, and it's an horrible editor, would use Sublime over Coda (and I dislike sublime..)
PhpStorm ftw - generally Intellij IDE's are great -
Redders9578yyeah, I'm only talking about Mac and Windows guy :-P
I use PHPStorm, Sublime, vim, VS Code, Atom, that's in order of frequency
