Yeah that's how I feel about all the JS framerks and bloat and all that instead of Vanilla JS.

Frameworks are born from this type of reasoning.
When you use vanilla, you end up having to set up some sort of system of your own to avoid having to repeat the same code over and over again. You end up with your own framework

I love how web devs invent some crap to make dealing with vanilla js more easy, but actually make it worse, then go back to vanilla js and then invent new frameworks again, in a never ending cycle.
Without ever realizing that maybe they should get rid of the root of the problem.
