terraform/pulumi and ansible solve different problems AFAIK.
e.g. I don't think TF/Pulumi can manage bare-metal servers. Ansible can.
Ansible/Pulumi define a desired state in declarative manner, where with Ansible you can tinker with a running system dynamically (e.g. shell scripts) -
b2plane58262y@retoor the more i work in software dev or devops the more underpaid and underappreciated and overworked i get. Im starting to want to move up the line of management/product owner/department director and similar boring shits. Those types of pieces of shit people get paid x5 times more than me while i work x500 times more than them. Fuck you. Fuck all of this unfair unjust BULLSHIT. So retoor what do i have to do to become a manager or department director so i get paid 6 figures usd a year minimum? Or close to 100k

Just learned ansible. Its cool. I can see how powerful and useful it is. But way too much linux involved. Not my cup of shit. I want my shit done in java and nextjs (nextjs is my new side bitch sorry java and angular). I like terraform more than ansible
