    Just give it time. Cry and drink if you feel like it. After a while you'll get over it without knowing

    It happened to me a long time ago, I did exactly the opposite and put all my energy in to work. when I was in love, that was when my work suffered!

    Listen to some good music. Preferably something without lyrics since the talking can distract. But definitely something you can enjoy while still getting work done. Unlike many of this network's dwellers, I don't drink. I can use all the brain cells I can muster.

    Func sad()
    Return True

    While sad()
    Drink.Vodka || Drink.Rum

    Easy as that πŸ˜‚

    NewMe = Robot(me) ;

    Aahhhh !!! Feelings, first thing is to realize you can't help what had happened, second it will get better with time and last , yesterday is history and tomorrow is mystery !!! You can't change history but your present action can change your future.

    Good luck with your future πŸ‘

    Long bike ride with friends. Spend time with friends. It works. I had some friends who helped me recover. They are the best healers..

    Just hack away, you’ll be aight. Life goes on

    Just go out and met a bunch of new people. Making new friends always helps. Keep yourself occupied, eventually, after some time even while remembering her you'll be like "naah fam fuck that shit lmao"

    Everything will be ok in the end.. If it is not ok, it's not the end..
    Meaning: it wasn't mean to be.. so either you will find someone else (eventually) to be immensly happy with..or you won't.. doesn't matter as long as you're happy by/with yourself. So I suggest forget everything you know about yourself and how you function.. Rediscover yourself, figure out what makes you happy (besides having a girlfriend) & start doing it! Once you do the things that you like and make you happy you either won't want/need a girlfriend or you will find the right one.. And most important do not change yourself for others!! It will only lead to another dissapointment in life. Be yourself, enjoy yourself! Try new things, improve yourself if you want, but for yourself, not the others!
    Focus on you! Forget bad crap, hold on to the good things that happened.. drink if you want/need, but start building on yourself, other things will fall in place..

    Watch something funny. I've done it with scrubs, you feel love from this bromance and laugh with them. It help a lot

    @Alice Omg, you don't mean...

    ...

    ...You broke up with Cyanite?
  • 1
    @KhaanFaizaan I will take a lot time, but after that you will feel better.

    I broke up with mine 10 months ago. The only thing I pity is that I did not tell her how fucking rude she was.
    I hope you had a long talk when you broke up. Nothing should be let unspoken, it will only hunt you.

    @Alice I do hope it is correct... same situation here... funny that I still love her... and it’s been 7+ months now πŸ˜…
    There were many things that might have been better if we weren’t together... but still, the time spent with her is the most memorable time I spent in my life 😊

    To the OP,
    I hope u get well soon... programming most certainly helps in not losing ur track πŸ™‚πŸ™‚

    maybe you must think does she worth this suffering?
    I was in a relationship that stayed 7 years ( yes years) and she broke up with me for stupid reasons (she was wrong and she knew).

    Now, I will marry the love of my life few months from now.
    it will pass.

    I feel your pain man. Three things you need. Time, Heavy metal music (specifically BMTH, FFDP, Slipknot, System of a down and a bit of Rammstein) and lastly do something that will challenge you intellectually, like working on a project or creating a Python module or anything like that.

    Convert your negative energy in creativity or try to focus on something other than work. Search for something you really like to do.
    Been through it to and the gym really helped me a lot. :)

    @error503 da real MVP.

    Mostly alcohol and having a good time with friends plus some occational sex with people you don't care for. Plus build something cool and I don't talk about software. Build something real, something you can touch. For example a "magic mirror" or just hook up a pi to some speakers to have a "network music player". Create. Oh. And all the best <3

    @helloworld That's a good thing to do
    To use That energy in a better way ....

    This too shall pass...

    I tell that to myself every time I start noticing how messed up I am and that the reason traces back to her. She’s not responsible for it, at least imo. The damage has been done and some parts of me have become twisted (not in the evil sense) in the process, and is really a result of my own emotions and thoughts. And then I tell myself again...

    This too shall pass...

    Take sometime off. Go on a holiday with your friends. It would be refreshing.

    You must have loved her. Which is good, but she is gone. Move on. If you can get her back, just fuck her and dump her! Then move on! Take care.
  • 2
    @Alice Aah... I see now.
    I thought that, with "I just did", you meant you broke up JUST now/today... Thankfully not.
    I'm happy things turned out this way for you ☺️

    @Alice Oh, okay, okay πŸ‘πŸΌ
