Each vehicle is an address, which also takes up just a tiny bit of extra in addition to the data, which is all spread out. But with arrays there’s one address to keep track of, and it’s all in one place

@molaram I thought we were talking about general fixed position UI components... annoying headers, that cookies dialog... etc. advertisements are just a part of it. I’m talking about how did we get to a point where the majority of websites think it’s ok to do that and how as a community do we discourage it.

They think that if you have any experience with web development then you’re qualified for a job meant for people without these qualifications. Happened to me with the job I’m at. They advertised needing someone with JavaScript experience, and now I’m making grammar corrections in product descriptions on an e-commerce platform.

@Artemix they provided the firmware update to their SSD but haven’t told anyone about it. Took me way too long to find it.

@Artemix most industry standard video editing programs such as FCPX and Premiere Pro, while they have an option to export to other formats, they’re pretty bad at it and usually end up breaking something. It’s not a simple word document. This editing project in particular requires FCPX because the business I’m doing it for uses that.

I personally prefer the UI design of the Apple pro apps. Premiere is hard on my eyes.

And I don’t know what you’re talking about, this Mac is almost five years old.

So I think the reason I’m feeling like this is a mediocre project at best is because I started out building everything from scratch, no frameworks or libraries except for jquery and sass, mostly because I had no idea what to use. Now I’m wishing I started off doing more research.

@vinoo I think it's a custom library for GLUT. "GraphicsLib" is the name and I can't find any website for it anywhere. The only documentation I have for it is what is provided on our class's blackboard.

@kunaldawn it's basic CS1. A standard introductory C++ course. We spend an extra hour and a half a week practicing all the new concepts that were learned.

And yes, I plan to look into cmake soon
