Even though we have sophisticated CD pipeline, decided to modify war on server (modifying 1 source file, compile it and patch it on server (Java based)). Just cause CD takes 4 hours and we "only have" 15 mins to do it. So manual patching with rush job. Now when I think about it, I cringe and thank the dev ducks that we didn't messed it up even worse!

It seems people have loads of time, as so much is spent on this platform. It would be interesting to find out how much total time spent here every day!

I was away from devRant for more than six months. It is good to be back. How I missed this!

Just spent hour browsing through the rants. So refreshing. Also so many improvements and new features to devRant, developers are busy.

Today, we can edit comments or post upto 5 mins only to maintain the flow.

But would it make sense to be able to amend comments and post anytime and east way to see publicly the history of edits. This will serve the original purpose while correcting cosmetic changes even after 5 mins.

What do you people think?
