@retoor test test test.
@whimsical test test test. -
@retoor test test test. Should give notif in less than 5 minutes right? :)
-
@SoldierOfCode I realize that with your follow functionality I can get notifs for all my accounts 😁
-
@SoldierOfCode will try with two hours. Stay tuned.
-
I was very proud when my did not do that. He told me about it. Those messages are so scammy, even a 70yr old does not fall for it.
-
How's puff? :)
-
@Lensflare yeah, but they have to crank them up so much based on info above that it's not really realistic.
-
@Lensflare that's my point. I do not see a good future for them. They hope the government will bail them out like they do banks. They're not even motivated to be profitable. So they'll do nothing and just continue this way?
-
You have no github but molodetz! Unlimited build server / filesize.
Live coding sessions is totally fine by me tho. But will never do a cognitive test again. Passed it (with perfect score for inductive and deductive thinking), took hours, was very intense, not hired. I felt raped afterwards.
Recruiters are idiots. Do have to know so little but still don't know. It's almost an art to remain that stupid.
I have a strong portfolio because I don't have a job (you should try it!) -
@blindXfish sure, but can they do that too with such high expenses? I just watched docu about temu and wish, also sick financial scenario's.
-
@wojtek322 I hope that we go back to many small ones 😁 Smoll communities like dR.

Weekend: I am setting up a cloud storage company and it's a bit more expensive than I expected. That results in needing many customers. Many customers results in more support. I know, the cloud software can be just made high quality but customers always find something to complain. Only thing left is a good docs page on how to use webdav. I got demotivation a bit but decided to go trough because I want to start at least something. But I need 300 customers to break even. I've also learnt that only 2.5/5% will upgrade from free plan to paid plan. Fine, there goes the free plan. I can't give 15gb away to every customer, especially not as starter. I'll loose money at the beginning anyway and still have to invest in marketing. But marketing will be trough shady backlinking and I think my domain name is very good that contains product. When it's in Google, it will sell itself I guess.

@Lensflare sure applebitch :p
I'm kinda wysiwyg. It's ok. Only my parents have some negative not deserved assumptions about me. I was a long time sick and couldn't do many things. Now I'm quite alright but they're still assuming that I'm not able to do certain stuff. -
It's a big dilemma. Software development without AI is unthinkable soon. I mean, if it's not vibed, still the edits are done by it in my case. Don't want to go back, it's deep in system now. Also, using AI is a serious skill to develop as well. School could give an extra class on it, but how to find teachers? Ofcourse you should learn to do everything yourself as well, but I can imagine students not to be so motivated anymore. I have no idea what the school should do.
Something I'm worried about: did you know that the gpt users even lose money on their 200,- subscribers? What will this say for future? Will they develop cheaper operating models or do we really have to pay the price someday? -
@SoldierOfCode how's camel? :)
-
@CoreFusionX also, you have the dishes and get lunch for the whole company.
-
@SoldierOfCode you have a script for it? :)
-
@SoldierOfCode that was one second! :p I deleted dr.mentions.* and thought - fuck! Wanted to fix this quickly to prevent @Lensflare and the app users would find out :p
Besides that, you can rely on it never being down, like snek. -
@SoldierOfCode ah, makes it a bit more complex, but thanks for your research. I gonna eat and will fix it and thanks for the test data 😁 also, I'm never bored :p I see you guys as top priority 😁 after snek users :p
-
@Lensflare he doesn't have the balls :p
-
Use https://devrant.molodetz.nl for uploading images and generate a link for here but be warned of the content there.
-
@Lensflare I'm just messing with ya 😁 Ofcourse it's a scammer 😁
-
@SoldierOfCode aww, thanks. I will look in it today, duplication also mentioned by @Lensflare. But I don't know if I can add the "Add new rant" notifs in this rss because it maybe breaks @Lensflare system that depends on it. Maybe I could make extra rss. Will see how far I get :)
-
Sid calls that a water scooter.
-
@D-4got10-01 yeah, you could think maybe, leave it there just like pictures from gemini have a little logo so you can see it's AI.
-
Because it looks like from a 5yr old and we have chatcontrol soon.
-
@Lensflare nah, all the accounts not so holy for me. Check my AI usage btw: https://static.molodetz.nl/rp.cgi/.... Sick huh :) All the messages are recorded so I tried to train my own model on it (according to gemeni, my dataset was gold) but no effect at all :( Else I would've a gpt-4.1-nano on steroids right now.
-
@2Fdev2Ftcsh actually, yes! 😁
-
@AnalProbe2 @Lensflare
-
@CaptainRant yh, it was not always fun. I got hired for stuff that I couldn't do and just got smashed a book on the table and had to learn under pressure. Also technologies I didn't favor. I am the first and last Delphi for dotNET developer you'll ever speak to.
