@D-4got10-01 it is, I wouldn't be surprise if you sign up for the service they will spread your sign up info and then "clean" in the web. That's how low I think of the service. All those data brokers are scraped by other brokers or just advertisers. If you were once on such broker, you're lost. Accept it. Incogni won't fix anything. Do you know what should be fixed? Sid. That commute is horrible. Motivated to learn Ai is good. Shouting culture, just shout harder. Sounds all fine by me :p But commute is undoable. Once I was driving a good car and thought, yeah, now everything is relaxed, you just need a good car. Then, I started working 5km's from home and went on bicycle. Most cool magical thing about js is proxy class. You can make so much awesome stuff with it. For converting await rpc.contacts.online() automatically to /rpc/contacts/online for example. I like such stuff because I'm backend oriented and prefer not to make some js api clients and hate writing test calls. Original snek has no manual written rest or websocket calls in it. Everything rpc like that. Its very weird how uncreative people are programming.

Agree with @D-4got10-01 regarding nothing is for free. The idea that everything should be free is why we get bullied with ads everywhere. It's also a bit because of attitude of many people. But still, we have a paid Netflix subscription with ads these days. Dystopia.

Hmm, ssh on phone is quite easy, that's good file serving. Webdav is also easy using uwsgidav, can be easily installed on dem root. Is python, so probably works.

I recently converted a python app to Java using AI and the lines of code exploded wouldn't be surprised if it would've been even more than a C variant. It's an interesting language if you like typing and to type.

I actually did use it for a song but that was like extremely bad. Generating the lyrics with AI and the music is so double. It hardcore sucks. But ofcourse, my own lyrics I do extend with AI as well. Try to imagine a song yourself for 3:30. That's a talent.

@c3r38r170 well, i know almost all it does and it does give me some tricks. But learning something from scratch no. I've learned regex through an llm and fell so hard on my face frequently. Wouldn't have happened if I just did regex101 or smth. But I was writing an interpreter for regex and that was a bit double and as every interpreter writer, did it several times. What a hobby. Sadly llm's are very good in writing interpreters :( Sigh. They destroyed so much.

Btw, the issue is resolved. They checked themselves and they were NOT a government and accepted my few days expired passport. Took some words. For a German company could be worse. Heil Hetzner!

As someone having downside for a week I'll just shut my mouth.

But I hope we learnt something from the recent AWS outage. Cloud fine, but maybe not centralizing it to one provider.

I worked for huge cloud provider several years and wrote provision software but still there lessons to learn. Couldn't login to repair mailserver bevause out of no where 2fa requiring my mailserver to work. My god. I my defense it never was 2fa and I would not have chosen it.

Also, cloud or not, depends on service. Back in the day, they said never do email bevause of complexity (still a thingy) but also the spam. Well, my molodetz address never has spam while mentioned everywhere and it just runs clamav. I use mailcow for that, could recommend.
