I just love it when the management/project office make decisions regarding code language and frameworks and such... just ignore the devs with actual experience...4

Worked at a big company as firmware dev a few years ago (less than 2) but switched cause of bad pay. Joined a consulting firm with better pay and bemefits. In 2 weeks I am going back to the old company but as a consultat... they should have just payed me and we could have avoided this :D1

Team had to solve a ticket from QA...we had no idea how long it would take so we estimated 6 man-days to fix it (being optimistic). After 2 days we had found the issue which had already been solved on another branch... time well spent and thank you for merging!!! Fuck you!3

My boss just told me that he wants me to stay and is giving me a permanent position :D my contract would have ended by the end of this month otherwise! :D6

Getting back from vacation and just getting the frikkin computer to work again. No network. Screens turns of by themselves... fml...1

Was in a meeting with my boss. I complained about there being too many meetings and thus not enough time at the keyboard. He told me that I should turn down meetings I feel I dont need or feel are unnecessary (no point in me being there if I dont feel i contribute). Point taken . I stood up and left. He later told me he appreciated my honesty and would try to keep are meetings to the point in the future :D

Me and my coworker shares internet cable because the it departement haven't plugged in all the cables at the other end. It's primitive... Like sharing a usb flash drive, but worse5
