Hubby and I work for the same company. His boss is a twat who's always trying to fire him. Told my hubby's boss he needed to be more clear with expectations and bring issues up before he gets pissed and can't respond appropriately. Then I walk away. Then I email him apologizing for taking to him and that I'm not planning to talk to him again.
That little bitch went to HR and said he felt threatened by me, demanded that I be required to work from home. My boss said no.
Aaaaaaahahahahahahahahahha 😂8 -
When a vendor tells you you can't do certain things on their API because their database is not optimized, and then drops the bomb that doing a certain action that, when it happens to overlap with a completely different client doing the same action, causes their system to go down, you know it's a Tuesday that feels like it should be a Friday...

Vendor says we're "spamming" their API. Look at screenshot - 16 calls in TEN FUCKING MINUTES is apparently creating too much load. 🖕
Oh how I wish I could put them on blast by name...2 -
Not really tech, but...
I used to handwrite a lot of fiction in several notebooks that I kept over the years. House went through a bad flood in 2013, basement where the notebooks were stored got full up, lost all the notebooks 😭
Now I don't even have a basement2 -
Who else works at a company that enforces test driven development? And after doing TDD do you think you could ever go back to NOT doing TDD?

Third party vendor whose shitty API we have to use as part of our application blocks our account IN PRODUCTION without even telling us every time they have a slowdown because of course it must be us. Yeah, I didn't want to go home anyway🖕1

I took an AI class and we'd have weekly AI poker tournaments. I beat everyone in the class every week except one, and I even beat the professor a handful of times!11

When your company has data integrity issues and they expect hacky workarounds instead of fixing the data
