@PonySlaystation Thanks Pony 🙏
-
@magicMirror Thanks Magic, and yeah, been extremely tough not having him.

My wife was an architect and dealt with the same shit with a very famous hospital. She quit.
-
I just quit my last job after 2 months, the ceo was toxic as fuck. Always have to put yourself first and I hope that your next venture brings you the peace you are looking for. It's hard but as long as you know your worth, always set your boundaries. Good luck!
-
Actually dev job market is so hot right it's Friday, fuck this job, Monday, signing papers for new job.
-
@AleCx04 this is such awesome information. I lived calculus when I was in college but never had to take statistics so I'll definitely hit that up. Thanks so much for all the information!
-
@Lensflare ha, ding ding. How could you have guessed so right.
-
@gosubinit Actually something I've never even thought of, thanks for pointing that out.
-
@IntrusionCM Awesome, thanks for sharing!

@12bitfloat Music to my ears, statistics, probability, linear algebra, anything else?

Such a great thing to read, been working at a job for 2 months and got chewed out by a ceo because in peice of font size was not consistent. I'm leaving that job. Great job as the leader you are.
-
@sariel @C0D4 Yeah, ceo at my job when I started was a little upset they lost the 5.0 score on glassdoor because of a "discruntled" worker. After 7 weeks of being here, the ceo is just generally an awful person which had me question all the other 5 stars.
-
@rEaL-jAsE Ha, no worries, I didn't think you were, just strangers tone lost in translation.
-
@rEaL-jAsE @Marl3x Hey, if you guys are big king dingalings on css, good for you. I just find the stuff like clamps, maxmin, etc not necessarily intuitive.
-
@sariel Hahaha, yeah I'd be the one you would look at like, wtf is wrong with you. JavaScript is my hammer so everything is a nail but to be honest, I do try to find css avenues first as I see that css can be very powerful and performant. I apologize for those of us who just want to hammer everything, hahaha.

@bittersweet Im in your boat. I got a new job and it was only after I accepted the role that I realized it was an apple shop. First time using apple and you are right, for development it hasn't been bad, dare I say, pretty good actually. From what I read about the M1 chip, it is really good. I have the Mac Pro 16 with the intel chip.

Been considering moving over to Mac after only ever using Windows.

@andikaEka I've been there but seriously, look at it as a learning experience. I bet you you'll find out you'll be able to teach them something as well. I've learned lessons about technology from people who can't even powercycle a computer. It's important to be confident in what you know but even more in what you don't. 😀

@scor Thank you! 🙏
