@nothappy it was HDMI, but it wasn't loose. The graphics driver was not prepared for this...

@Codex404 I suspect it started happening after I upgraded the SSD, and I just cloned the OS into the new one. It's fine, I usually save often.

@Codex404 recently my laptop throws more bsods than it used to. This time it happened when I opened the lid, resuming it from sleep.

@Stuxnet here is the source https://engadget.com/2018/06/...

@SnuKies UBB, right?

Definitely Kotlin, I really really love it <3

@FilipeRamalho I've seen it this morning. I've also found another video which did this in a more structured matter. I can say I'm relieved that Google is not that blatantly spying on us.

You can try Yarn it does have a lockfile which links specifically to the versions used when you ran yarn install. I had the same issue recently, yarn solved it. I heard that npm also added such a feature.

Decided to emergency push my code, but they took out the network so I resorted to...

You can try and spoof the user agent and see if it works.

@fun2code it's not wireless. It's connected via a cable to the router. I think it's a €10 monthly plan. It's a Cisco router connected to the ISP's fiber modem.

I use an Asus laptop, i7-6700HQ, 16GB RAM, GTX 950M, 120GB SSD, 1TB HDD, Full HD IPS display. I also use a cherry mx brown keyboard, with a poor "gaming" mouse.
I mostly use WebStorm and IDEA for development since I need to do back and front end. I'm running Windows 10, cause games, with cmder and cygwin installed so I can basically have some of the good parts of the Linux terminal. -
Java would win the first place, closely followed by TypeScript (React, mostly)
My native tongue is Romanian. I also know know English and I strongly believe English is a much better language overall.
My favorite band is Disturbed and my favorite song is <pick any Disturbed song>. -
@Emphiliis well it is healthy

@plusgut thanks for helping out. You've given me something to think about :)
-
@plusgut I'm planning to continue working at my current company, the team is really awesome, I'm in charge of building most of the new features and I have learned a lot from it. I just want to continue to be the guy that fixes issues and implements features quickly and properly. I don't intend to go and work for big corporations that don't give a shit about me. I prefer working in a smaller team where my work is appreciated and I'm respected for what I do. I'm not looking to earn buckets of money, I do what I do because I enjoy it (don't get me wrong, I like earning money and spending it, but I much rather be paid less and respected then be paid more where nobody appreciates what I do). Basically I want to do more than just code, I want to have a role in architecture decisions, design, UI and everything else in this category.

@purpletoxicrain I have a backup power generator, but that's running low on fuel now too...

Day 50: Still waiting for the GIF to load. Might lose hope soon. Food and water supply is running short. The candles are fading away. The winter seems to be here already...

@beriba it basically replaces the if statement making it rarely and randomly return false when it should have returned true. Very hard if not impossible to debug.
-
@maltedMilk it's not the fact that they dislike USING the framework, it's that they hate it as a whole (it being heavy on resources and so on), but everybody seems to like Atom and they don't complain about it being a resource hog
-
Nice, though you used the image from my rant, I can tell by the cursor on the first guy :)

@redstonetehnik Thanks!

@magicMirror Thank you!
