Drinking while coding? C mon... you
must really like debugging that drunken code afterwards 😅
Leave the whisky for later, when you relax, perhaps playing some Red Dead Redemption 2... Also, switch to Maker’s Mark... as far as Kentucky liquor goes it’s better than Jack. Cheers! -
OMG... @Ratsuky I sincerely do not envy you dude...
As for you dear @Odradek7, please try and be more humble... We can compare the app making process to what architects, writers even sculptors do all day, but the fact remains, you helped to make the app better, but without him there would be no app in the first place...
My advice?
1. First learn to code, so you can keep all the IP and ownership for yourself.
2. Appreciate the craft, otherwise you won’t find many supporters, especially not here where one in tenth rant is about coders being exploited by bosses that overvalue their own contribution ;)
3. Profit! -
You know, I heard the idea is the most importach thing... every startup starterupper knows the idea is worth at least 90%, so the programmer should be given at most 10% to make it reality. :D
Dear @Odradek7, the way you describe it - you gave him pointers, feedback and notes, not unlike that an author would receive while writing a book. Unless you took the time to actually code the app, you don’t own it :/ But if apps are anything like books you are entitled to a kindly worded thank you note in the splash screen though... ;)
Watch the Social Network or something ... you may be marrying a successful lizard alien :D -
@ClySuva Yeah, I thought as much...
It is hard isn’t it? Not as hard as calling it stupid and offering nothing instead ;)
I like you Cly, you should consider having a podcast or something, you know, to share the wisdom :D -
@ClySuva None taken ;) But then, what is your preferred method of device identification to suit css style to a particular format in web design? Share with the class :)
-
@lxmcf How come? There are just three types, each has a rather distinguishable resolution, so you can target them individually or as a group with media queries. As for UX, the rule of thumb says if it’s meant to be used as a tablet design with tablets in mind, no matter the size...
With Android tablets you have the real problem, not only are the multitude of resolutions wacky, you can connect an external mouse and it totally changes the ball game :D -
Out of context...
The graph shows how many users have newest version of given operating system installed...
Stop spreading misinformation, hate wars are for kids... and console players :P -
@Artemix Backwards compatibility like making sure the newest OS is supported by 5 years of older devices (like iOS 12 on iPhone 5S)?
Show me an Android phone from 5 years ago getting Oreo update... mute point. -
If you squint to block out the finer details, it becomes apparent...
I wonder in what cool real world scenerios this could be implemented in :D -
@AlpineLinnix It’s Polish and it’s in need of a polish ;)
Czwartek = Thursday
Czerwiec = June

@lucaIO 2 weeks ago 😁 And I doubt they see an OS upgrade anytime soon...

So does McDonalds... At least in my Country ;)

Cool Kitchen!
I love those burnerless induction cookers, they’re really easy to clean :) -
Tear off that plastic wrap son. YOLO!

However did the first one shouldn’t work in servers. Being messy only increases complexity with scale. Both jobs require some degree of perfectionism 😬

„multiple hours”?!
Either I’m doing all that app developement thing completely wrong or I seriously doubt your „afternoon of an app” really deserves 5 stars... ads or not 😅
