You'd think keeping settings between versions would be something they would try to get right. I exported mine from 22 and tried to import them... No luck, but I only change a few things anyway. I think there's some feature to cloud save your settings, I haven't figured it out.
That said, I've been using insiders as my daily driver for a few weeks now and had just normal vs problems, so I can't complain too much. -

Python the language is fine. Python the ecosystem sucks. Though I haven't tried out uv yet.

Assembly version issues suck, but date your project. They are a thing of the past in modern .net.
I've had to fight with these a lot in our legacy framework apps. Double check your assembly redirect configs, and check the actual dll assembly version against it, it doesn't always match the package version. -

I always turn the lane departure stuff off. I don't need it fighting me when I'm trying to go around someone pulled over or a biker/pedestrian.
