I wouldn’t focus on expo too much. If you’re working on something you don’t enjoy working, it’s probably time for you to move on. I recently were in pretty much the same situation and I’ve decided to move on.
-
what? There’s a home page?
-
@SortOfTested what do you mean position absolute and flex order? I’m not aware of the fact that flex order has anything to do with overlays but it would be cool if this is a more robust solution.
I know that you can use position absolute to achieve something similar but I’m not aware of the combination of position absolute & flex order tgt -
little humans with pea-sized... wait, what???

One second, I’m calling my coworker who’s Russian.

So @C0D4 is the mechanical turk behind?

Write a test that breaks on a version upgrade?

@theabbie 😂😂😂😂

Is JS gonna be the first language that you’d say you are/will be proficient with?
If so, start by understanding programming concepts, basic for loops, function declaration, passing variables by reference vs by value. Read about OOP, functional programming, and other styles as well as design patterns.
If you’re already coming from a background with good foundation of all of those, jump into JS and briefly read about prototypes and the this keyword in JS. Get an understanding of what the bind function is to learn more about the variable scopes in JS. After that, you can finally start to learn about the frameworks, react redux angular, blah blah blah... cuz only then you’ll have good enough foundation to not make stupid mistakes and truly able to develop web apps that will be robust. -

Damn! I thought I was the first one to rant about this and that it was cool :3 show me the reference about the iOS specific crash! (Btw I have been an android user for many years and finally switched to iOS because of the camera, but hey I know I’m not about to start a war ;), right?)

Agreed with Sauce. It’s totally okay to do PRs like those small fixes and improvements, that’s why we build CICD for devs! Think agile, merge agile ;)
But in this case the wrong part is that it is not a correct change so I wouldn’t even categorize that as an improvement, but a small degradation in the documentation -
Just curious.. I mean... if you don’t mind... do you live in China....? 🙃
-
It all makes sense tho. Just like if you were using bash you would need to source the bashrc again.
But I get your point 😉 -
I think I would take a broken heart retirement package

Oh man, I know Mark personally. I work with him on a day to day basis.
Can’t imagine he could also replicate himself. Altho now I know it’s possible as you said that he could be a robot! -
On the other hand, our technology is very new.
But we have:
- freestyle node.js + expressjs architecture aka controllers that easily grows over 1.5k lines, with tons of actions and functions blended in
- very DRY libraries/functions that accommodate every use cases. (Think of it as a gigantic if-else handler)
So my point is.. time probably isn’t a factor here. It is regardless of when the code is written, or what technologies/frameworks are used and how old these tech has been around, but rather the way it was written, whether it is using the proper design patterns, and written in a way that is highly readable and easily scalable, etc. -
@NoToJavaScript sarcastic. Azure and Github, I heard they’re from the same company?
-
@GiddyNaya omg HAHAHAHA! Looks like there’s no way out
-
Can you elaborate what makes this combination more awesome compared to other CICD flows?
-
@daviddh I used Solarized Light which is prettier and quite elegant in my opinion but not as good as dark mode is for my eyes..
-
I've always used light mode until my coworkers brought up the argument about how dark mode is good for your eyes.
-
@fil@filthyranter might have missed your pt, but what's good about irrelevant ads o.O
-
I use LastPass and ran into similar problem before lol.. Since then I always generate (but not fill in directly) and copy the password then fill it in manually. Much more work but now I feel so safe all the time <3
-
Am I the only who's constantly stayed away from dark themes? LOL

Hey bro, why have you got so many "save buttons" 3D printed?
