@JakobMenski just circling back around here, are you saying that you only tried one of them - but that they are both good - and the one that you tried (the only one) is the ‘best’ one?
-
@JakobMenski
It's nice to know that some people can get some value out of them.
I'm still worried for you though. -
@wackOverflow Because <b> meant "Bold" at the time - that that is a stylistic choice and not really a semantic meaning. Strong emphasis can be styled any way you choose - but say, Siri - would know to say the word differently - or screen-readers etc.
Also they seem to be trying to rebrand <b> as "The bring attention to" element. :shrug -
Bummer!
But also note that <strong> is HTML 5 and is the legit way to denote strong emphasis. -
I thought it was all storm troopers at first.
-
Seems like it’s going strong for everyone who uses it - and never existed for the people who don’t.
-
What would the ideal community look like - that would keep you around?
-
So did they do a bad job on the teeth - or was the phone really heavy?
-
“A bit of a golden moment” just meaning that it’s a time where things are working well together - compared to more frustrating eras.
I guess this question was really only for developers who learned jQuery, Angular 1, Rails, Ember, Vue 2, React, Svelte and now Vue 3 so they would be able to compare. The stability of the Vue ecosystem right now is feeling very mature. And even if you use React, your now using Vite too for example. So, it’s in a position to have even more community interest.
And just that CSS grid and JS all have new features and ESM etc. - it really is a pleasure to work with.
Great points though guys. Well said. ; ) -
That would be ideal.
Most people at this time - are stuck in the past or - in their expectations of the future. Dead. -
@Oktokolo Yeah. I know right? Stange times.
-
Congrats!
Not really a #rant though! -
@djsumdog I guess it depends what lens you are looking through and what you consider an ideal world. I think that labor and design are very different. I’d prefer to have a diverse team. But I wouldn’t be doing that for any social fad reasons. I can agree with many of your thoughts. But I’m unsure of your goal.
-
@12bitfloat there are other types of diversity besides skin color, right?
Different perspectives from background, levels of disability, socioeconomic etc. -
You know why it didn't get done? Because you try.
-
@vintprox "just fine" - is the problem with the world right now. It's not FUCKING GREAT / at all.
-
“Hello. Is there anyone can help me?”
-
Yeah. All that / but also - I didn't decide to "go." So, their system is just hooked up to an old card or something. Google is just getting bigger and shittier all the time. They don't even know what is happening with their systems. They're so dumb, that they are - deciding not to take my money. That - or so dark / that they are kicking me out so that they can make sure I'm not grandfathered into anything. Probably a bit of both.
-
@ojt-rant Many reasons. I know 180k Sr. Web devs who have admitted to me that they don't know the basics of CSS and have just tossed framework after framework on top of their projects for their entire career.

@petergriffin what’s called escape?
-
@electrineer I’m a solo singer actually. I’m lead solo.
-
They call it “Reddit.” You can only post if your content has just enough value to keep eyes lingering but not if it inspires any thought.
The kids say it’s “cool.” -
"Ok. I remade my blog in every single static-site generator. Now, can anyone tell me how to get people to give a shit? I have nothing to say."
-
@electrineer Here's one for you.
If you are the only drummer, is it really necessary to say that you are the "lead drummer" - even when there are two percusionists? -

@craig939393 - Aren't you just "The architect" then?
-
"Oh Oh --- please help me... I've got this really complex problem bla bla bla bla bla bla bla"
"bla bla bla bla bla bla bla"
"bla bla bla bla bla bla bla"
"Anyone?"
"NM already fixed it." -
@m00gendai - I think it's the persons asking for help who is the problem. That's why it's in quotes.
-
@JustThat nope ; )
