Why r there any upvotes on this post lol? Litterally I use Ubuntu as primary OS and it's really simplified my OS experience. Windows was slow, unreliable even with 16gb ram, i7 etc. Ubuntu works on all my PCs, was easy to install, and updating is a background task. It's so frustrating using windows and just the time maintaining my dad's P.C. (windows 10) is more time by infinite amounts (litterally) than maintaining my Ubuntu PC's. The original post doesn't make sense and should be downvoted..

@jiraticket aahhhhh the logic is sound with one caveat: for what reason would one not have a beard! 😂
-
@jiraTicket what message is sent whence one has a beard? Also what is the confusing message
-
@nicbovee can confirm there are many ruby devs. Ruby is nice tho, nothing to complain about
-
@KimDotSe long ass model name, appended by "i think" lmao
-
This is precisely what robots are good at, and what takes humans long, so its sort of counterproductive
-
Does it work on IE 5?
-
@dontbeevil why would anyone want to click anything ever, fingers on keyboard at all times mean I can do basically everything with my eyes closed, fast, precisely and see a full log of exactly what I'm doing
-
So it's like gigantic? Pronounced Kjife with a silent K?
-
AWS blows my mind. Prime is rediculously fast, usually 1 day. 20% off on games. It's just rediculously good UX in every way. I reckon if you told them about your problems they'd help you.
-
Honestly their UX is phenomenal. Unmatched. Customer service is rediculously good
-
Tis normal

Was just looking at your website. Cool but mobile experience can be improved

Vinod Khosla talked about how MBA's are super stupid and how you should never do one @ hack the north. Notable since he's a billionaire investor, one of the founders of Sun Microsystems, and has an MBA
-
@kamnikaz on mobile it mainly used the history and ip
-
@kamnikaz it uses your browsing history that Google has stored to see if youve been doing anything weird. If you are logged in to google then it helps them even more. It also checks your IP address to see if it's been doing anything odd and finally it checks your mouse movements to see if they are human like. Also checks click duration etc
-
@leviathan07 it's a joke but in terms of real life use it's a great practice on your own feature/bugfix branches when you --amend a commit you've pushed already.
-
What a terrible terrible user experience. Who wrote that message? Find him and get someone to take this out. Warnings and errors should be clear and concise !
-
Every comment you write should bring tears to your eyes of sadness, that you had to write a comment because your code wasn't clear enough
-
lel ... Don't sell the steak, sell the sizzle. Trust me, the winners had a decent app too. Don't be so sad that they also put effort into marketing

@filthyranter
It is okay to be wrong, you will learn soon, that GOTO is a construct inherited by many languages by older ones who did not have better systems in place to cope with such situations. Today, GOTO is NEVER a good option. Perhaps you feel emotionally negative towards this teacher thus attempt to rebel their advice - do not let it be so. See the truth fore it enlightens you and without it you will not grow. -
Yes, RTFM

HTML and most web dev 2 spaces is the global standard. HTML5, HAML, ERB, rabl, etc....
-
Wtf is phyton ??? I'm gonna make a language called Phyton for funsies -- you saw it here first!
-
All code is just discrete math underneath. Sometimes it amazes me how far away from math code is because when you really consider the physical processing the processor is doing on the machine code it's crazy. Especially languages like Python or ruby that are interpreted, underneath there's some machine code that's executing simple mathematical operations . Math itself isn't really a language of programming because programming and computers use data structures and crazy stuff to make all the math actually appear as tangible "things" on the screen. But on the other hand machine code and even to some degree assembly litterally is just math instructions and it has liittle no understanding of what it's doing. It's 50/59
