So many occasions to choose from! Probably the most pissed I've been is when I'd been assigned to work on (and completed fixes for) the same bug as another developer twice in the same week after already having spent 4 days working on a new enhancement that's requirements changed literally an hour after I'd saved the code!

I'm pretty sure the only thing our QA team tests is my patience! 😤

Accidentally saying out loud "oh for fucks sake" when you overhear someone, talking on the phone, say "oh you're going to ask {Insert your name here} to do that" and you're already overloaded.

When managers ask you to complete some code in an hour and it takes them 5 hours to approve the merge.

When manager wants daily merges to a source control system that updates every 3 days.

When they change the ethics,health&safety,anti corruption etc. online courses so that the next links are disabled until the audio is completed.

Whoever taught PMs how to overlay screenshots on top of their designs needs to die a slow and painful death.

Development Process:
PM writes out functionality required and works with designer for drawing up designs.
Hands off to Dev.
Dev reads through all docs and sends the PM all the strings, he's just written down in the documentation, that he needs to request for internationalisation.

PM+UX: The boxes must stretch to fill the all the available width with no spaces in between, they must wrap to the next line, be 200px wide...sometimes.... and there should be no scroll bars all at the same time.

Me:so you want magic boxes that can just do whatever your thinking with no real logic defined...?

Being forced to rush code, then waiting for merge approval from your US based approver at 3am while they add comments to the review complaining variables aren't final.
