@SukMikeHok we (admins) and our Devs are actually sitting at our work desks in sweat pants and comfy socks. Our bosses want us to be comfortable at any time. They value us as individuals a lot.
-
@c3ypt1c I suppose that's the reason :)
-
PayPal doesn't support TLS v1.0 anymore. Maybe the online shop still uses it and they ditched PayPal instead of updating their shop software.
-
If he's a nice guy: tell him! He'll be proud as fuck :)
-
Maybe he only used it once _yet_?

Even more specific: email clients are flawed.

What I hate about Windows:
- all previously stated points by @linuxxx
- it's a pain in the ass to find simple things. I love how easy and simple to use a Linux system is by simply using text files for configuration *or* by GUI if you prefer. Things I do in Linux for ages are simply not as comfortably done with Windows: for example moving the user profile to another partition/drive. In Linux I simply let /home point to another partition and that's it. You can do that while reinstalling while on windows you have to install, boot up and have to point several folders to different partitions or use registry hacks....
Just a few of so many things.
What I like about it? It's great for gaming. It really is. The performance is way better as on Linux, which is a shame :( -
Why would I want that?
-
@mundo03 if it's not end to end encrypted in a messenger, it's not encrypted enough.
-
@mundo03 no. Telegram does not encrypt by default.
-
Telegram. Because russian Facebook is better? It's not even encrypted by default. WhatsApp is.
-
I'm still here. 🤷🏻♂️

If you are not comfortable with routinely fixing your OS, don't use "bleeding edge" distros but more stable ones like Ubuntu.
There's a reason why they're rolling out updates slower... -
and in the end you are buying from a shady place like G2A to save little money...
I mean 30 hours. 30 fucking hours. How many more hours has a game to entertain you until it's okay to buy it? -
Welcome to devRant!

@itsdaniel0 so how about taking a photo of a faked screenshot?
-
Thanks for the upvote! 😏
-
I see what you did there.
-
I know. And everyone loves JavaScript and I honestly don't get why.
-
@sirjofri who are you refering to? This is literally my point :)
So many web sites do not accept a "+" in the local part of my address and it's fucking annoying. -
Even PS3 Gamepads and I think Xbox 360 are supported out of the box. You can navigate through Android with it and a little amount of games support them. MyBoy Emulator even supports Xbox One Gamepads :)
Oh and then theirs Moonlight, the open source implementation of Nvidia's in home streaming. I played Rocket League on my phone with a gamepad. -
@mrUnfused Ah, so you are those kind of guys who need to click every text and highlight it while reading 😁
-
Just out of curiousity: why do you need to double click it?
-
Overlapping stickers are all but great. Stickers are okay in a reasonable amount and arranged in style. This is ugly. Sorry mate.
-
@sam0 lame is a mp3 encoder. 🙃
-
Thank god it's closed source! 😓

I have problems with things like this too:
if(this==that||this2!=that2){
instead of
if (this == that || this2 != that2) {
readability is important for people who didn't write it themselves or the one who wrote it and can't remember what it does. -
@TktStatusPICNIC knowledge is not understanding. Tests are often used to test knowledge.
