My new old keyboard arrived 😋

I was going through random old files of mine and ran an old prank script that made my screen black and played the clicking sound a fucked hardisk makes.

My heart fell out my asshole and I rebooted before I remembered I have a solid state. FML. 🤦‍♂️

I finally finished building my desktop to the specs I want!

I bought NZXT's Nuka-Cola themed case & mobo cover when they were announced. I've been planning this build for a while, but:

My laptop fell off a bench (while in my backpack) a couple months ago and the screen broke, so I bought this nice CHG70 from Samsung and put on top of it. That worked fine for a while, but within a couple weeks that laptop also stopped sending a display signal.

Having already dropped a lot of money on the monitor of my dreams and not being able to bear returning it after having it in front of me, I decided, Fuck It; I'll just build the whole PC I've been planning on right now.

Except, I wasn't ready. Had to start out with a Ryzen 2400g. Then got an RX580 on sale for $200. This week was when I swapped the Gigabyte B350M DS3H & 2400g for NZXT N7 Z370 & i7 8700k

Sooo my friend asked my to become more active on steam and i did something about it! I'm going to be become the most activities steam user!

How weird is this?
I was working on a project. I wasn't able to find solution for a particular sub problem. It was late so I thought of sleeping.

I dreamt about the problem. I solved it in my dream. When I woke up in the morning, I remembered the solution and I solved it.

Christmas reminds me of my favourite development team ever. I first visited the team for a quick hello, before I started working with them, at Christmas time. Unlike the rest of the the company they had decorations and Christmas treats and the radio was on with Christmas songs. This set a very good impression.

When I did come to join them after the holidays I discovered that this team like having treats, would often sing songs together randomly and even make up new ones about their code on the spot. They had a great attitude to work and made the working environment a fun place to be. We did get lots done but I also learned so much being with them. When I left they wrote me a card filled with raps they had come up with reflecting my time with them. I still have that card.

I miss you guys dearly. Merry Christmas xxx
