Girlfriend: So YouTubers/bloggers do this thing where they partner with brands and promote their items and give a promo code or promo links which you apply while you purchase the item which gives you a discount and they earn money through every purchase
Me: Yeah, I know. I'm a developer, I make those affiliate links -
So, went to 3 hackathons in the last 3 weeks. Won 2/3. Developed on Ethereum and some Iota for the most part. Loved this experience and many more to go. Idk what to say honestly, just blabbering :p13

So there is a mall here that idk how but has little currents pass through it's supporting rails. And every time you touch it, it gives you a little shock.
I have been waiting for about 3 months now expecting a patch fix when I realized that physical production bugs have no patch fixes. More than 3/4th of the population is unaware of a whole different level of bug fixing frustration. Damn1 -
Our college has PC's with Pentium Core 2 Duo processors and 1 GB RAM. We are made to code Java on windows using default notepad and cmd. There's nothing more infuriating than that.
Me: Ma'am, can we use any IDE for our mini project or finals?
She: No kid, you can't just use that. This is code you have to write it.
Me: Wut?7 -
So mechanical keyboard suggestions under $120? Also I might need to import it so consider import duty of around $50 while suggesting2

If you're gonna not put up with bullshit and drop out of college once and for all, what should you do to ensure you have the proper skills and network to get a job?3

Girlfriend: There are so many passwords to remember, man. What's my amazon password, baby?
Me: Just use a password manager?
Girlfriend: That sort of thing exists?12 -
I hate such sites. Such developers will be condemned to live with a 128Kbps dial-up connection forever. Assholes.12

So I'm playing around with Node late at night and decide to make something of it. Made a real-time 2-way communication system with NodeJS, Express and Socket.io. The UI currently looks cheap, but it's clean. Open multiple tabs to see it in action.
You can also send private messages by typing /p username message. I could add authentication here and also connect it to MongoDB.
Any other ideas or reviews? Also any other ideas for Node projects? Thank you.

So after two hours of debugging I get to know that Chrome doesn't differentiate between font-weight 100-500 unless on a Mac, and IE does, but IE doesn't support the <picture > tag 😶9

Just failed at 4/6 subjects at my uni. And now I have to study subjects I have completely no interest in just to pass. I feel depressed1

Fuck this system. Fuck college. Why the fuck are you making me write hundreds of chemistry assignments and calculating double integrals? How the fuck does that even help me? I seriously feel like college sucks up a huge chunk of my time and I am not learning anything, while I practice Node and Vue at home. Why does that degree hold so much value when most degree holders don't even have skills?30

Not promoting any app, but people should care more about what they use. The most used services are the least secure8
