It's not random. It just means your brain and fingers are a PRNG ☺

Actually.... Android is technically Linux*. And I installed different versions of custom ROMs so many times!
* It's not "GNU/Linux"; just Linux. -
@felderp me too. this is a really cool debugger!
-
@nonconvergent actually, if you're not standing up, it's not a stand-up. there's a reason for that name...
-
@StefanH "folder" is already an abstraction... how abstract can you go?
-
in python, it would be:
2b or not 2b
but it wouldn't compile anyway, because identifiers cannot begin with a number. -
@gashadokuro Actually, I think they are typing instead of speaking mostly because their spoken English is not so good, and there's a good chance you wouldn't understand.

here's one reference:

I remember reading about two years ago, UX experts all over warned that the hamburger menu is a huge mistake... they lost.

@g-m-f the same thing happened to me when I saw it!
-
go to GitHub's new repo page. refresh until you see something you like. it will probably not be related to mobile ☺

to directly answer your question... ☺
it was in my first year of college. we had to print out our c++ programming exercises and hand them with a 1.44mb floppy.
But it was 15 years ago. Google was relatively new and gmail wasn't invented. -
@kevbost both are names, not generic nouns, or at least they used to be. So it makes sense to capitalize them.
-
sometimes I just say "wa-wa-wa" instead. And curse whoever decided it should be "www." and not "web.".
BTW, it should have been "http.", just like the other protocols: smtp, ftp, pop... -
@ChrisCooney in general I agree, but if the OP has started with powershell, maybe the jump to java is to much. It's not clear if he/she is aiming for a programming career.
-
python. then javascript, and when/if you decide you're ready for non-scripting, I'd go for java.
-
@tysa we get about 50:50. And when I submit my own resume, I use pdf.
-
@Neo- true, but it's still funny. And, it makes me wish the standard format for cv would be markdown, just so I can see if the applicant has mixed tabs and spaces :-)
