1) For me code is a way of expressing my thoughts akin to rap. It's just that your thoughts has to be precise if you want to write "good" code.
2) Creating anything out of a thin air has certain charm to it.
3) I love problem solving and even if I don't love it, if I've got a certain problem I'll have to solve it anyway and most of the computer related problem can be solved via code. -
I asked my 7-year-old niece to either do her holiday homework or do 100 Sit-ups, without saying a word she went out of the room so I thought she had gone to collect her books but instead, she came back with a water bottle and said: "start counting now".5

This story makes me feel that I was
1) dumb
2) slow af( took me days to read/write properly)
One of those has changed now 😜4 -
All I did was asked a rookie question(because I am rookie) and this is what he had to say.
He could've just said no politely. But I guess his success is on his head.9 -
It feels good when you mentor someone.
I did GSoC 2018, so I encouraged my friends(3) to take part in GSoC'19. On May 6 the results were declared and I wasn't selected (hurts) but 2 of my friends were selected and after hearing that I completely forgot about my own failure.
I mean one of them didn't even knew how to code in December'18 and he got selected for the program in May'19.
I have to admit it was frustrating in the starting, explaining how Git works, how not to mess up branches etc but in the end it all paid off.
But still there was some work to do because only 2/3 got selected so I pushed the 3rd, told him not get demotivated, started finding internship for him and now he'll be working with an org on developing their app.
Weird thing about this is that neither I got selected for the program nor I have an internship for the summers but I am still f**king happy.2
