Customer: You don't seem very comfortable with this; maybe you could pass it on to another engineer..?

Situation:
I'm a System Management team engineer. Customer is asking about licensing (which is a different team) and has that very rude habit of asking a question, doing a small pause in which I start answering, and then speaking again and cutting me off; thus causing me to seem very splutter-y. Since I couldn't give a definitive answer to his licensing question he doubts everything and thinks I can't do crap. And he's the one who wants me to sit on an upgrade with him because he's too afraid to follow documentation.

His words to me: "Have you ever done this upgrade before; I mean are you familiar with it?"

Me: "Nope since it's not policy to sit on upgrades as we are a break-fix center but I've directed other customers to do it through the documentation I've given you and they got on fine."

Seriously doubt the capacity of some of these guys to do an upgrade where there's step-by-step videos and very legit documentation (never mind this upgrade uses the tool which has the best record for not breaking)

On call with customer

Cstmr: What version is this?
Me: Can I see the build number plz?
Cstmr: Yeah
Me: *checks against internal doc*
Me: It's version X
Cstmr: Are you sure?
Me: Um...I'm pretty sure
Cstmr: I'm gonna check
Cstmr: *mutes me and spends 10mins finding public version of the doc*
Cstmr: Ah, it's update X
Me: *................* yes

Making the avatar is relatively stressful due to how I wanted it to have the beard I could never attain but the sight of it still made me cringe. Plus, I wanted a pet but points requirements made me sad.

Learning information security yet again after doing multiple information security things for company and manager is pushing to do it saying "due immediately" and they're after sending "a number of emails" (it's due in a month and they sent 1 email).
Annoying that these things must be done again and again just because someone in sales let something slip or left their journal behind like a dumb dumb. It's not like I'm never off-site with my stuff or I interact with customer(s) yet

Learning to troubleshoot issues with vms. Had to break a vm with a script I was given and then fix it. Docs I was given said x error should be in y log. I check the log; nope. Check the other logs for other possible errors mentioned; nope. Turns out something else broke instead and before of the thing I was supposed to break. Rip me
