Fuck... Right o'. I rant before I view the damn response.
I got some prototype splatted out, but damn the "next" and "prev" page arrows are too close.
I'm too lazy for this BS.
I will scrap full project prototypes when I come across a quirk like this nonsense!....
Ok I'm going to read more now. -
Story of my life... The braindead fucks I often work with don't know the concept...
Meanwhile I save so much time by building the initial automated workflow... but my "manager" wants me to focus work on repetitious routines.
If only I got paid for it... If only I got paid for the solutions of saving the company SHIT TONS OF TIME.
I get no respect! - Rodney Dangerfield -
Oh please let this be true...
Help us, Hulk.
You're our only hope! -
@lufen34 Fuck Wordpress with a glowing hot 10-foot pole.
Piece of garbage. Insecure. PHP.
Everytime I set it up, I have to be cautious of what plugins are used, and hope to hell someone doesn't hack into my sites to essentially Fuck things all to hell. Also the damn database gets disconnected, and renders the whole site to an erroronious shit pile.
I appreciate the intent of Wordpress, but it's gotten to become a shit storm... It's a straight-jacket if you are a real web-developer.
It's like a baby's toy for people who don't know shit about making and producing websites.
I rather eat my own feces and a horses ass.
"It kills web dev jobs". ... FFS, by all means. Let the laymen do their own job and learn theses lessons.
I'm sure more of the WP site "developers" don't know how compromised their shit is.
Enjoy your crypto miners running on your nice Wordpress server. Fucking clowns.
Eat shit.
Have a nice day. -
@Ace71425 lol you know it exists.
-
@Ace71425
Yes. It can be done! I know just right resources.
The price tag is in the trillions to be able to develop, launch and deploy your own satellite constellation with the right technology.
Yes people are fucking annoying when they think you can work that magic pixy dust code.
They have no clue. -
@Root I find it easier to have a message warning that their browser is incompatible.
And I might be gracious to put the extra work into telling them which browsers are compatible. -
"I want my code to work on all browsers"
This is like saying you want your gas station to accomodate LEADED gasoline for the older cars, and you then put the effort forth to install extra pumps in your gas station to accomodate for such cases. What's that you say? They don't make leaded gas anymore? Well we can bundle the refinery into the whole deployment package.
There are reasons why IE is not a thing anymore.
And if any browser out there wants to do things their own way, then it better be better than the growing standard use cases that majority of the best browsers are accomodating. Otherwise, take that shit and get it the f*** outta here.
I grow tired of trying to keep up with all the "modern" dev bullshit... and at this rate I think it's only going to get worse the more we cater to this type of ass backwards bloated nonsense. -
I found that holding CTRL+R will refresh with the new changes.
Yes. It's the simple things they don't tell you that can make you feel like a total idiot. -
That's how I roll.
Fuck them. IF they can't keep me on board then why should I stick around for the next 2 weeks while they find my replacement?
I just leave when they can't make a hard worker like me happy. They deserve to "notice" the absense of my hard work. -
@CWins Or we can go crazy learning every nuance of evolution layer built on top of XYZ JS.
-
FFS. I try to do typescript, then it compiles to whatever vanilla JS I was coding anyways...
WTF is the point? For reals. Someone "educate me" on the whole usefulness and necessity.
The idea is to simplify a programming paradigm and not over complicate it with new transpilation subset languages, and bloating out JS variant framework/libraries...
WTF am I missing?
I'm too busy and too productive to give a rats ass, as I spend much of my time sifting through BS.
Someone out there please make me a believer as there are a shit load of JS related libraries and frameworks that I "need to learn" before I go insane doing so.
